The weird names were actually a deliberate choice made to make Orre feel distinct and foreign in comparison to previous regions. The Japanese names for the characters are different, but they’re still just as odd.

“My boyfriend loves crime shows, so I became a criminal” is this season’s hot new anime.

There’s something really adorable about Umbreon being the toughest, most homocidal, terror obsessed monster, but when he’s around his boyfriend, he’s just a super sweet softy.

I... Love Weh. Legit knew a girl from high school that was ultra quiet. Nobody sat with her. Some thought she was abused; some said she was a murderer; & some really reached saying she was for all intents & purposes (in a fuckton of words) an SCP (with some chilling lore). When I learned what her address was from her cousin (she graduated 2 years before I did), I decided to pay her a visit. She was so fucken quiet bc she was an avid Pokémon fan, especially in the creepypasta areas of the fandom. She *_EXCELLED_* at it, & I love creepypasta fiction bc it's oftentimes VERRRRRRRRRY scary, occasionally it seems believable. I lost my shit, I was so excited. Her face brightened up, she cracked a smile, & her eyes began to look like they were burning. Then she began crying, thanking me for not being a bully & sharing at least one interest. We became OUTSTANDINGLY good pallies. To this day, I still talk to her by text.

So maybe the other thing was some weird jab at my brother, I know now that they bullied him as well. Mind I have no clue if it was the same ones in any of the instances. his year had a reputation for being assholes and according to my brother, who had left the school by then, did the Hitler salute in a senior year class photo, which the school in their infinite wisdom added to the yearbook.

Dude, that's awesome! People need to be nicer to us quiet nerds. Freshman year of high school, I had a different lunch period then my friends, so I just found a quiet spot to eat alone. One day, two older girls were walking past me and the we're asking me why I was eating alone and stuff. I just ignored them because I didn't feel like talking to upbeat preppy people when I just wanted to eat my lunch. They decided my unwillingness to answer meant that, clearly, I was a foreign exchange student who couldn't speak English. Even after I tried to pipe up, they just ignored me, so yeah. Be nice to quiet people. We're trying our best.

interesting tidbits I learned from watching the stream vods because it's been 9 days since I've first watched this video and I'm still completely obsessed: The only Pokemon to have lines in stream 1/5 is Espeon, with his “I’ll wait in the car while you guys do terrorism” However, this line is not actually from the cutscene, it’s from later on when Yam (girl playing game) checks Umbreon and Espeon’s natures The next Pokemon to have lines are in stream 2/5, Weh first, and then Trefor. It's really a testament to y'all's talent that despite all of you voicing each of these Pokémon at different points in time, sometimes even within the same joke, I can still hear the difference in the performance and pick out which character is which. That's impressive.

@@gagejohnathan9641 But we'd seen the group dynamic before GP joined, and while there are a few slip-ups here and there, it's not necessarily a _hostile_ atmosphere for the most part. At least on the inside, I mean, it's called Terroism Inc./LLC for a reason. I like to think GP is just being paranoid because of the whole terrorism thing, but he doesn't have that much to fear due to the others either being painfully oblivious or knowing already and not really caring about it (or they care a lot more about people not acknowledging it in Espeon's case).

I like to think it's linked to the disastrous HR meeting with Weh. Umbreon stumbled into misgendering/potentially misgendering Weh, and takes it very seriously from then on

Even though Weh was the last one to get a personality she has easily become my favorite. That "I come here to do my job and that's it" energy is something I feel on a spiritual level.

So, Umbreon is a professional Himbo, Espeon is a nervous wreck, Trefor is a stoner, Weh is the distant coworker who hates everyone, Simphony is a fanboy and GRNPikachu is Hercule from DBZ/ King from OPM.

Wes in his house on his phone, occasionally looking up to see his pets walking around his home with a bunch of legal documents for Terrorism LLC, and openly sees them drinking coffee and filling out forms, and his only thought is: So this is where all the memes of pets in office worker attire comes from, and simply goes with it.

here’s a little headcannon i thought of for these characters. Espeon always brings a paper bag to missions just in case he starts hyperventilating. Simphony has a watt pad account where she writes very graphic fanfics about BTS, Voltron, and MHA. I’d like to think that Noctowl actually has very cute hobbies like pop music and knitting, he makes little string dolls of people he likes. The low level enemy’s in justy’s gym is just another example of Justy being a petty scumbag. “NO YOU DON’T GET IT THIS IS MY GYM ONLY I GET TO BEAT THE TRAINERS NOT YOU I GET TO BE THE COOL ONE, ME JUSTY NOT YOU!” Espeon has to make a secret second cup of coffee for himself because Simphony keeps trying to poison him. Ever since Umbreon found out weh has a twitch he spams her chat with advertisements for terrorism inc, she has banned him several times. Grnpikachu didn’t even join willingly. they just found him on the side of the road and went “ AWW SHIT IS THAT A SHINY PIKACHU!?” sorry this was so long I just love making up headcannons.

I come back to this video every now and then for shits and giggles but every time i do i just get struck by like, and incredibly specific vision about Weh! and their content. Like, at work clearly at work in business they're clearly the like, very monotone "I'm just here for the paycheck" type, work good don't socialise much etc. They're not disliked but they're not friends with anybody, you're used to seeing them around but always kinda in the background. Then one day you're 4am deep in a youtube recommendation deep dive, you've followed so many rabbit holes you've breached the earth's mantle, you're on that _niche_ content. And as you're blearily absorbing a video about the cheese-making techniques of ancient civilizations or something instead of putting out some Zs, something clicks. You're not sure what, but something's tickled the recognition centre in your brain. You go to their channel, but it's all too anonymous to trigger anything futher. You watch another of their videos. Then another. It's 5am now. You watch more. 6am. Dawn is sliding the first glow under your curtain. _Finally_ the neurons fire and you recognise the voice. It's Weh, but full of a life and enthusiasm you've never heard, a level of mirth so alien it sounds like an entirely different person. The video's are _good_ too, high quality of production, regular uploads, sited sources, all the signs and energy of a proper labour of love on a topic you'd not heard of before. The cocktail of relief, surprise and sleep deprivation finally knocks you out 15 minutes before your alarm, but as you stumble into work half-dead and with more caffine than blood in your veins, you spot them again, in the background as usual, and through the haze you can still recall their enthusiastic lectures about, idk Mesopotanian Brie or How The Viking's Steamed Clams. It feels comforting, to know that they have something that makes them happy, and on hte lunch break their subscriber count ticks up one more.

What kills me is the “I am a very bad man” followed by that line.

7:20 the boy crazy Noctowl bit/goof is severely underrated. The little ‘I’ll say~’ and the heart-eyes really got me!

You've made more well written, likeable and funny adult office comedy in a few twitch streams than a full team of writers have in a multi-season television series.
