Hi Alex, I agree that this technology is incredible, BUT, China, North Korea and Russia have a shipload of experienced hackers. We would seriously have to pick up our game in cyber security or we will be getting a serious amount of false data on those head-sets. (Blue on blue anybody...)
Given that the Army is in the process of motorizing everything they'll probably be putting fast charging infrastructure into it's vehicles for these. A two hour battery life would be far less of a potential handicap with this in mind.

And why is it that, with our technology today, we can't hurt him, but way back in 1954, they had the technology to make the oxygen destroyer, which did kill him. I understand this is an April Fool's Edition, and you're strategy sounds sound, but being in nerd mode, you forgot his regenerative abilities. Concussive force would only wound him for a bit, and that's why the military fails with all the existing munitions we have. A better strategy would be to study him and create a weapon solely designed to take him out (Oxygen Destroyer). But then you run the risk of creating Destoroyah, which is bad without Godzilla. This won't be every fighter, but certainly every squad, and some spec ops groups. The real biggie isn't going to be the personal view of the battlefield, it'll be the ability of a soldier to mark a real world spot and have the kit work out his location, the location of the bad guys, and target a strike, with artillery, a drone, or conventional aircraft.
