The Saab 900 from 1993- and the 9-3 til 2002 were constructed to be safe in real accidents and not with the Euro Ncap firstly in mind. An example was that it could hit a moose in 70 kph without the A-pillars collapsing. There are many deadly accidents involving mooses in Sweden.
