I only show live digs. No open holes and the target. I show only what I find. No more. No less. If I find only trash, I’ll show that too. 😆
As a young child I was bitten by some canslaw while barefoot at the beach. It must be a curse like vampirism or lycanthropy. Cursed to find canslaw. Forever. 😭😭😭

Our family will be there mid July would love to find that rake
Great video! Where did you get the container to put the teeth in. Where did you get the shovel. I have not saw that one
Would the six inch coil also work well there but not be as cumbersome?
Do you need special permission/permits for Jax Beach or any beach in FL?
Not on public beaches. The only time I ask is when I enter a state park that has a beach. I’ve never been told no at the ranger station.
@@Gaptains_vloG Thank you.
Why you no shake shake shake anymore
Should put a magnet at the bottom of the scoop for iron objects or wire, paper clips.
Need a long handle scoop.saves on your back.makes detecting a lot more enjoyable
Congrats on the Quarter. Take
Good hunt. 🎉🎉🎉
Take a lighter to cut zip ties for a second and it will melt and smooth edges.
lmao that screw driver thing is a coke spoon
The 2 teeth on the left you questioned look to me like part of a snaggletooth, also known as a hemia.
Xp squeging hhh
It's so encouraging to watch this and see how inflation has effected the prices
Awesome!!😂😂
Was it a gold ring 🤩
Congratulations
“Praise the Lord” Praise that man that just used his time and skills to find it.
...Who was sent by destiny that God written.
Sounded ironic to me! As an Atheist I always say "Thank the bleeding heart of the crucified baby Jesus and His teen whore mother!" ... just to piss off any Christians within earshot!
What a difference after the cut. Very pretty. Love how it stands out under the light. Reminds me of the yooper light rocks. Nice video Jay. Waiting to see what rock you'll do next. 😁
Quite the investment for the saw but boy it cuts nice. Always good to get the right tool for the job. Cuts look good! Do you have to polish them more after the cut?
I’ve been using a harbor freight tile saw for a couple years. Most times I could get a nice even slab. Sometimes I’d get uneven slabs or end up with saw marks. My lower back and hands would fatigue after a few hours of cutting. Now I can set it and forget it. Lol The slabs could always use a polish. All that means is removing scratches. I cut palmstones and cabochons out of the slabs and polish them.
It seems like you need a tiny wedge on the slab side so the slab drops down. Otherwise, it seems like it would vibrate itself forward and risk scratching it all to heck. Alternate, you could add an arm that wraps around and pushes it forward until the saw auto shuts off. I love the contrast of the red and green. Also, I'm curious to see how something like eclogite looks.
Beautiful color contrast in that stone. Nice clean cuts too.
Meu amigo, saudações do Brasil, coloca legenda nos seus vídeos, vai ajudar quem não sabe falar inglês. Abraço que Deus te abençoe.
Coin Spill... Nice
Hey Jay I have been watching you I have been into your content on metal detecting but I found it very cool to show the cutting of that amethyst and I have worked in marble and granite fabrication most of my life. But that saw I never seen before and I would like to be able to look it up if you do not mind giving me a little info on it. I do have a Target wet saw but that one was nice. Oh my wife ask me to ask if you intend to sell any of the stones as she is a big collector of gyms and stones, before I know it the place is starting to look like a museum. Keep it up make it fun and Happy Hunting 👍🙂..
Hi Martin! Thanks for watching! I started off using a harbor freight tile saw. This is the Raytech L-10S 10” lapidary slab saw. Raytech was sold a couple years ago. I’ve been looking for one for a year. This is the first one I’ve seen for sale. I had to buy it. There are similar machines made by Covington and Hi-Tech Diamond. I’ve never sold any of the heart shaped palmstones that I make. I give them away. Maybe I’ll do a giveaway on an upcoming video.
@@Gaptains_vloG that would be very cool
Beautiful slabs, what are you making from them?
Hi Steve! I make heart shaped palmstones and give them away. People seem to really like them.
@@Gaptains_vloG That's great! Bet it makes a lot of people happy and smiling.
That'll make slabbing MUCH easier, even if it's a little slower (because you can't force the stone through). I need a short of you clamping up the stone. Oh, and, try to figure out a way to squeeze in a, "Shake, shake, shake," next time! 😂
Not being able to rotate the stone forward or back against the blade does speed up the cut. I get saw marks from doing it. Lol I’ll get on that clamping video today.
@@Gaptains_vloG The worst is when you're tired and not paying attention and you end up corkscrewing a cut around a stone more than a full rotation!
@@RIBill or you lose focus and end up with an uneven slab.
Very pretty. Looks like it takes a while to do, but the end result is worth it. . Love the scenery at the end. I'm off to detect. Take care.😊
Thanks for watching, Kimberly! I dunno how I got this deep into rock cutting. It too late to back out now. Good thing I find it relaxing. Lol I hope you find lots of goodies! GL&HH! Jay
The slabs together look like a mountain range.
Good morning, Jay.
Good morning, Leann! 😊
@@Gaptains_vloG How long did it take to cut one slab?
@@leannkennedy6568 maybe 20 minutes. It’s easier than free handing slabs on my tile saw. I started off using the the suggested amount of water. I found that using more water helped flush the slurry and cooled the stone better. The cover kept the water in and the noise down.
must be nice diggin in that sand as apposed to this crap in chicago
Very Cool.
Well done Jay keep on swinging and remember to make it fun and Happy Hunting 🙂👍..
Atta boy👍👍
Saved that man’s life! Haha awesome job. I had a ring recover once about 30 min after it was lost but I found something and the guy was like “tell me you found a ring!?!” I said how I know it’s yours can you give me the inscription? His wife whale eyed him and said “you better remember “ haha it was awesome. Great job though putting some karma in the bank.
Well done dude! That guy was ecstatic :-)
That's great!
Nice going Jay. 😊
Great job !!!!
Put a translation option on the videos, if possible, it will make it easier for those who don't know English. Here in Brazil they are selling a lot of Xterra Pro
Hello friend, are you enjoying xterra pro? Between the MX7 and the xterra pro, which is better?
👏👏👏🇧🇷
Congratulations on the video, hugs from Brazil.
Hi Jay, I see you really know what you’re doing! I really need your help…I lost my wedding ring at Fernandina Beach yesterday while fishing. Would you please be willing to help me find it?
Hi Michael! I can’t make any promises but I can try. Was it lost in the sand or in the water?
You can text me at: (904) 773-1188
Thank you so much, Jay
Hey Gaptains Log.I just bought one of these and it came yesterday in box, brand new.I assembled it and when I turned it on it stayed on for 4-5 seconds and then powers off.I tried charging it overnight but still does the same.Is there something I can do or can you think of why this is happening?I might just have to exchange it.Sucks, will take another week or more.
Hi squierjason8726! Check the cable connection. If that doesn’t work, there’s a factory reset that you can try. I hope this helps. GL&HH! Jay
Starlink why are some people so thick 😂
Adolfo, Thanks for watching! Thank you for your insightful name calling as well. Have an incredible day! J
That's Starlink satellites, for sure! Great that you caught it on camera, it's generally a pretty tough thing to capture. Kudos!
Cool 🙂
