Beach Metal Detecting. White’s MX7 & Hexscoop. Live Digs. Things to do in Florida.

The MX7 is and will always be my favorite machine. It will be my main machine with the X-Terra Pro and TreasurePro being my seconds. I dig every signal even though I SUSPECT they’ll be trash. It would bother me not knowing what the target truly is unless I see it. 😆
I only show live digs. No open holes and the target. I show what I find. No more. No less. If I find only trash, I’ll show that too. 😆

Nice views. Nice finds. Im right there with you in the sand. Cleaning up the beach is what we do and the finds are worth it.

Not too bad for the off season. That foam pile at the end! Haha that’s awesome. Hope you get all the goodies this holiday season. Thanks for the video.

New sub here, beautiful day on the beach! Not all hunts end with treasure, but great job cleaning the environment! Good luck on the next adventure! Happy Hunting from Jim and Mason, New Hampshire USA.

Thank for watching. The MX7 and TreasurePro pinpoint has always been accurate. My X-Terra Pro seems to be off OR I’m running sensitivity too high and that might be affecting its accuracy. I’ve since turned down my X-Terra sensitivity and it’s gotten a little better but I’m still digging wide holes. GL&HH!

Nice hunt today Jay. Covered the 3 basics hunt groups, can slaw, tent pegs and caps. Looking forward to the next hunt. Happy Holidays!

Hi Steve! Does detecting the beach count if you don’t find all three? Lol GL&HH! Jay

what do you find the Xterra is better at? depth? better target id?ease of use?-better machine? I have the mx7 only tried it in the forest 3/4 times but it amazes me how deep it finds small small objects and I only set the sensitiveity at 5or 6.

Hi Snapmantools! Thanks for watching. I love my MX7 and will always use it. The X-Terra Pro is a pretty good machine too. X-Terra pros: -It’ll find deep targets -handle vibration is great. Normally I’ll put my thumb on the MX7 control box to feel vibration from the speaker box. Feeling a target in the handle is a nice option. It wears on the battery though. Cons: -pin point doesnt seem accurate (forcing me to dig wide holes. -No real target ID (MX7 will show what coin and has the on screen metal scale). The X-Terra Pro has an indicator that blanks out tic marks with no description. -The bulky plastic grip gets tacky with moisture (sweat/rain/water). -the control box has a high center of gravity compared to the MX7. That along with the grip angle puts most of the weight on my index and middle fingers instead of the ring and pinky fingers that I’m used wo with the MX7. -No iron audio in beach mode unless pinpointing. I’ve passed over a knife and didn’t get any indication it was there. Luckily I passed over it in pinpoint and found it. I hope this answered your questions. GL&HH! Jay
