Phil is the man
Olive Drab looks more brownish in the video than what's in the box. Mine is more greenish. Shaked it well, but still green 😅
Great video - with great motivational tips from the Glacial Geek!
💛
Yo Phil my homie! Ture words couldn't have been said better my friend! I agree 100% with you
I try to only paint when I want to, not when I feel I have to.
Is there somewhere you can buy one of those mugs? Would be nice to have on my table while painting.
I know, right?
Literally how I think when I am painting all of those zombies from Zombicide Black Plague lmao
I love Phil!
Awww shucks 😏
Just keep moving forward, but don't forget to note any mistakes and advancements
Too grey for my taste
That turned out awesome for his first "miniature" to be painted!!!
It would have been nice to have some sort of instructions on how to put the mini together in the box - you know, just a half sheet of paper with a picture or two on it, but apparently I need to find a years old FB post that isn't even linked instead
Nice Video and cool product; since I already own the XL palette and like it very much an interesting question is: When will the advertised 'XL Hydro Pack' for refill be available?
They'll be available soon! Stay tuned for more details :)
let´s take it a notch up and let " Night Shift" do it ;)))))
This was a brilliant guide to watch for picking out all the little bits and pieces, but man oh man... Steffen having his name on his own brushes is the coolest thing! 🤣 That Soft Tone trick with a dab of water on the miniature itself was dead clever, definitely going to have to give that a shot.
Would you guys ever consider doing some Seed Paint 2.0 Star Wars Legion painting guides?
We've actually done one for some Stormtroopers :) kzread.info/dash/bejne/equM0MumqaerYJM.htmlsi=nip0cafIU6haepN3
Really enjoyed the concept of this video... is there somewhere we can look at stills of each of the finished versions to decide which method we like best please?
The cover image for the video is probably the best place to see them all finished. You can find one of them on our Instagram
Don't dis the old one's. They were from a simpler time. LOL.
Hey army painter, are y’all going to make an hydro pack for the XL war gamers wet palette that’s for sale?
It will be out soon. Stay tuned for updates! :)
The paints are great that's a fact. I wanted to comment on something that I personally like a lot. I got the hobby set a few weeks ago, wanting to try painting some minis. It's my first product for this hobby and I don't have a dedicated storage solutions for the paints and tools, so I've been using the original box the paints came in. It's a perfect for this and it was well packaged allowing for the box to be opened without tearing it open. I really, really appreciate that.
This is great content! I like this format where it’s an instructor and student.
...why are you or Games Workshop not telling the public you are partners?
Snow and ice base please next ❤
Hehe, it's always awkward having to talk in a different language than the one you share.
Love the success of a new painter encourages the rest of us!
I still problems with the 2.0 speed paints reactivating
We're sorry to hear you're having issues with it. Sometimes that can be an issue of the undercoat being used or other environmental factors.
A lot of great advice and the result looks great! Would you change anything with a darker scheme, say some very dark green marines?
You could use a lot of the same techniques. Likely follow the steps for the black areas more, but just swap out the colours for greens :)
i really love the honest approach to these videos.
I really did enjoy this a lot. Please more like this.
Your wheels spin, the weathering will be over the entire circumference not just the bottom. Looks silly
Definitely want to get myself some wash. What is a good all arounder?
You can never go wrong with Strong Tone and Dark Tone :)
just FYI: dont put words on your thumbnail in the bottom right hand side because the video time is there and people cant read it
The master and the apprentice. Would love to see more of this content.

If you like funny jokes, you'll want to stick around for some classic Thomas silliness after the end card. ;)
1.25 speed works wonders on this one, sounds like normal speed. Nice tips on the small details
3:02 Savage!
The speed painted kuritian mechs don't even compare to the phoenix hawk
