Olive Drab looks more brownish in the video than what's in the box. Mine is more greenish. Shaked it well, but still green 😅

It would have been nice to have some sort of instructions on how to put the mini together in the box - you know, just a half sheet of paper with a picture or two on it, but apparently I need to find a years old FB post that isn't even linked instead

Nice Video and cool product; since I already own the XL palette and like it very much an interesting question is: When will the advertised 'XL Hydro Pack' for refill be available?

  • @TheArmyPainter

This was a brilliant guide to watch for picking out all the little bits and pieces, but man oh man... Steffen having his name on his own brushes is the coolest thing! 🤣 That Soft Tone trick with a dab of water on the miniature itself was dead clever, definitely going to have to give that a shot.

The paints are great that's a fact. I wanted to comment on something that I personally like a lot. I got the hobby set a few weeks ago, wanting to try painting some minis. It's my first product for this hobby and I don't have a dedicated storage solutions for the paints and tools, so I've been using the original box the paints came in. It's a perfect for this and it was well packaged allowing for the box to be opened without tearing it open. I really, really appreciate that.

A lot of great advice and the result looks great! Would you change anything with a darker scheme, say some very dark green marines?

  • @TheArmyPainter

You could use a lot of the same techniques. Likely follow the steps for the black areas more, but just swap out the colours for greens :)
