That reaction to the barrel falling off the tank is so accurate. I cannot begin to tell you how many space marine arms have fallen off recently. And the brand of super glue I'm using doesn't like to stick to the dried glue..

some brands make a super glue remover/eraser. It works well to remove old CA Glue and lets you glue with the new layer better
This was a brilliant guide to watch for picking out all the little bits and pieces, but man oh man... Steffen having his name on his own brushes is the coolest thing! 🤣 That Soft Tone trick with a dab of water on the miniature itself was dead clever, definitely going to have to give that a shot.

That weathering is awesome! Those effects paints look great, but since some of the effect comes from the very matt or glossy finish, how well di they work once you varnish the miniatures?

If you varnish after the effects paints, then you'll standardize the finish across the model to whichever varnish you use. If you want the finish of the Effects paint then you can varnish before applying them
