From what I hear the consistency of the Fanatic line could make for good wet blending. Sam Lenz would be perfect for a wet blending tutorial using the new paints.

Can Confirm: Army Painter 's Airbrush Warpaints are the the best Airbrush paints I've used, and the fluorescent pigments are the nicest and brightest in UV/blacklight effects. I have yet to try the 'fanatic' paints, but would LOOOOVE to get my hands on 'em..

its a good thing to Bring on critical hobbyists it shows a willingness to take a risk and feedback with people i don't feel would ruin their credibility for a pay check, it also shows as always how much army painter want to work with the community to better their company

This is a great move! But be careful, dear Army Painter Team, and treat our painting idols good. Messing this up will create some negative backlash. This out of the way - you got me! I am convinced Sam would't join the team without liking the paints and meaning what he's saying. This man has soul and this is awesome. Looking forward to your new paints which will find their way onto my desk!

Cool! ..That'll be interesting to see and follow. If you really want to push the limits of the new paint line the factory team will need a "x-factor" The odd man out...the tenth-man... completely different in style ideas background or experience even... Someone from accounting? ...hihi... that will work too. Reason for it is that that person does not have the maybe bad habits, usual way of doing or even usual way of thinking.. or seeing a problem or solution where others have preconceptions. Pair of fresh eyes and hands will also insure that 'stupid' questions are going to be asked and in answering them every 'assumption' or 'preconception' will show up in the explanation and will stimulate - Real out of the box thinking. Cus nothing get the idea or possibility motor running as fast as people trying to show the new guy how when and why things or why they do something that way...in an on the spot creative QUICK way to explain or do something that would take too long to just explain all of it. Im saying this cus usually i learn faster because i have a problem i cant fix with tools or material i have .. .. in the frustration not being able to continue or move on... but still need deadline results..... Thats the fun part... suddenly ..i also see ...but if ,what if i use...then i could, then just use...Tadaaaa... it becomes the 'new' way.. without the 'impossible problem' or broken parts... i would have never even bothered to think 'doing' it any other way. Something that rattles the staus-quo i guess. Anyways Yeah Cool. Looking forward to new posts.☺

Swill it, sniff it, taste it, swallow. Where do they get these amateur paint testers from?

Smart choice, I disliked your old paint line, but I feel like Sam Lenz is a no bullshit kinda guy that tells it like it is, so if he has good stuff to say about the fanatic paint range that's good PR I feel like he has great integrity.

Does that mean the taste of Speedpaints will improve? Because right now it's really bad 😂

That silhouette was too easy to recognize. Not even worth of a guessing game.

Gotta admit.. You could have brought in anyone for this, and my reaction would have been the same "meh". People already use your paints, people already push themselves to do better each time. You don't need to pay them consistently to do so using your paints.

Great painters can make even the worse hobby paints look good. What you really need to do is hire the worse hobby painters you can find. Your paints are not going to help improve Sam's painting ability but can they help someone who is bad a painting. Because if they can their is hope of the average person who buys your paint.
