Magic Prepper

Magic Prepper provides information revolving around the topic of surviving a SHTF scenario. The gear, training, supplies and philosophies that are discussed on this channel specifically target one's chances of not only surviving, but thriving during an apocalyptic situation that has reached a boiling point. Join me in discussing the unlimited possibilities surrounding the topic of post-collapse survival and in the meantime, we can help each other stay informed regarding current events that are pushing us further toward the inevitable end of the world as we know it.

Throughout my life I have acquired a range of skills that are applicable to increasing my chances of getting out alive when it comes to an event where WROL is the norm. I am also well versed in the gear and equipment that most Doomsday Preppers consider to be necessary for a full grid down collapse. Let's build each other up and not only survive, but thrive together post SHTF!

Welcome to the channel!

I've daily carried a full size rx and xcarry legion in appendix carry with one in the chamber and no manual safety. I wear them every day between the 2 p320s I've carried them for about 4.5 years all day long while at work. I'm a blue collar worker out in Arizona being out side all day long and jumping off of stuff and on stuff bumping into things but never had a accidental discharge.

5.56. Higher capacity, smaller lighter rounds, more available ammo, less recoil for faster shots, greentips, etc, etc, etc... 308 is more powerful for sure, but that power comes at a cost. The average person would be better off with 5.56.

Guys on KZread who are Glock fanboys: "Sig Sauer guns suck" The United States Military: "Sig Sauer guns are what we choose to arm our soldiers with to defend America" I'll go with what the Troops use 🤷🏻‍♂️

@MagicPrepper talking about Sig's not being reliable gets clicks on KZread and that's what this whole narrative boils down too.. most of these incidents came down to improper use and mishandling, and literally every gun that's been mass produced has had instances of these things happening as well.. Yes, even the Holy Glock.. From 1988 to 1998, over 120 accidental discharges occurred involving Glock's.. in 2011 a cop dropped his glock and it shot him in the leg.. He was awarded 500k.. The point is, all guns have isolated incidents and design flaws.. And occasionally u get a lemon from the factory.. The Sig p320 is probably one of the best guns on the planet and these KZread videos aren't gonna stop me from owning one

300 bo is just a weak 762x39. And the 762x39 does much more devastating damage than 300 bo. I don't get the hype. It's a very underwhelming round

  • @lanejohnson7656

You lost this guy on the Glock. Glock isn’t my jam.. HOWEVER. When the time comes I may need to help others out, in my location a handgun is basically just a backup. I do rock 9mm though, so I can help somebody out on handgun ammo.. AR? Yup got that covered. Pretty well stocked on ammo and mags. Something goes down with you BCG? Yup, got ya covered. Even with my minimalist load out I have a bag that has a complete BCG ready to rock. I basically have a spare BCG in every bag, for every load out. May not be a top quality BCG group, but each is tested in every AR I own. Have the individual parts to get the better BCG’s back up and running as well. My new goal is enough mags to hold 2 1,000rnd cases. Almost there, then will work on 3.. Going to trigger the “buy once cry once” crowd. But I’m kinda addicted to buying AR parts on sale and when have enough to assemble a new rifle I do so. Not “battle tested”, “military contract winning” builds. But yeah, I don’t have a corrupt system where what wins depends on how much money lines certain peoples pockets. I also don’t subscribe to the notion you need a $2,600 rifle without optic and other accessories.. Currently may have a few all set up with nothing fancy, just the basics to hand to someone that needs one depending the situation. They may not be the prettiest rifles, but they shoot very well..

Americas a big country with a majority of it being long flat open planes. There are some major city hubs and such but outside of a couple really urbanized states like half of california or new york youde be better off wth the round that allows you to accurately engage targets at the furthest distance possible since if you dont its likely you with your kit and modded out 556 could get picked off 200yards outside your maximum effective range by some guy using a battle rifle caliber out of a deer rifle. Even proffesional soldiers will tell you most engagements are at distances u rarely rarely get into cqb because you have to usually cqb happens because you are looking for trouble and targets kicking in doors looking for a firefight but in shtf your going to be focused on staying lowkey and running away from gunfire to keep yourself and more importantly your family alive so like why would you want to stack up on a 556 thats really great at a cqb role and within 300yards when 9/10 times you may have to use the guns going to be at least at that distanfe when instead you can go with the 16inch 308 spear and still have a formfactor of a size thats easily utilized in cqb if absolutely needed while also having advantage at long range engagements that your more likely to get in. Personally i would go with a 14.5 6.5creedmoor with 40round mags since thats effective range is about 1200yards and has a better accuracy and further effective range with less recoil and a lighter gun/ammo than a 20inch 308. Now that type of 6.5 is the ultimate inbetween from a assault rifle with a intermidiate cartridge and a full powered battle rifle cartridge. It has battle rifle range ballistics and accuracy with intermediate cartridge levels of recoil and ammo weight while also having about 2x as much ftlb as 556 . Best of both worlds imo especially since 6.5creedmoors as cheap as 223 by me at least
