They depicted the complexity of emotions and the need for a variety of emotions to function properly, whilst simultaneously showcasing the effects of depression and how it erodes away at your mental state so beautifully. So excited for inside out two.

This was the first PG-13 movie. This is in my top 10 movies. BTW Jennifer Grey was also in dirty dancing with Patrick Swayze. This is suppose to take place in Colorado.

The ships that Greeks sailed are called penteconters, they were widely used for trade, war, and piracy. A penteconter was rowed by 50 men so if there were a 1000 ships then the Greeks numbered at least 50000 men.

Oh yes Priam was a romantic. In the Illiad he had 50 sons, several wives and many concubines lol. Don't know how he found time to rule his kingdom.

My dad says he used to have rock fights with his brothers and other boys from his neighborhood. One day he had to bring his brother home in a wagon because he was out cold. Not sure how true all that is but it sounds like something from back then. I like how you unintentionally called out the town as a part of the horror. The town is indeed a creepy part of the Steven King horror universe. It is basically its own character.

The story about Achilles mother dipping him in the River Styx was not in the original Illiad. They were never in the Iliad. Those stories were written by the Roman poet Statius around 90 AD. According to what archeologists can deduce the Iliad was first told around 1250 bc and the oldest written account of it ever found was dated to around 800 bc. The stories about Achilles being dipped in the river Styx and hiding as a girl were written by Statius in his poem about Achilles titled Achilleid. Achilles mother, Thetis, was a minor goddess. She was a sae nymph.

King Priam of Troy had hundreds of sons by his many concubines. In mythology, he was famous for his exceptionally large...um...endowment. The word 'priapic', a medical term for a persistent erection, is derived from his name. Odysseus goes to Hades and meets the shade of Achilles in the Odyssey. Achilles regrets his decision to go to war.

Achilles was such a badass that the opening lines of the epic Illiad is about him Sing oh goddess of the wrath of Peleus' son, Achilles, that destructive wrath which brought countless woes upon the Achaeans, and that sent forth to Hades many valiant souls of heroes, and made them themselves spoil for dogs and every bird.

A fun movie, though seems like Sean Bean was the only one who actually read any of the myths (he nailed Odysseus). The Achilles of myth was angered for losing the priestess because she was his slave girl and he wanted the spoils. No love story at all.

Damn...using a baby as a hand held laser weapon truly is diabolical. 🤣 A-Train is such an A-hole for what he did with Popclaw it's the reason I still don't like his character. The Deep definitely catches hell for that BS he pulled with Starlight in the first episode. The stuff that Huey was saying to Ezekiel off the top of his head to get him to give up the information was wild.😂 The Black Noir vs the feral woman fight was pretty good. Also Starlight's mom doesn't know anything about what's been happening with her daughter because every time Starlight tried to tell her the mom would change the subject and then ask "What did you want to tell me?". Her mom is just trying to guilt trip her into doing things to make herself happy and feel important. I'm not going to sing and dance for anyone because there are too many people that take advantage of you when you're nice. Enjoyed the reaction 👍👍✌ out.

More relevant during the 1980's when it came out, as there definitely existed hostility between the West and the East during the Cold War. It was interesting that they mentioned going into sporting good stores to look at the 4473 forms. These are the real life forms every gun buyer fills out when buying firearms from a store or licensed dealer.

53:00 No limit to what she can do, doesn't mean she can come back to life 😂 No limits to her power, I took it as, her power will keep growing as long as she lives. Never stop growing.
