What brushes do you use for the chalk paint
If any Brits saw this they'd be laughing into next week and beyond. You Americans definitly win hands down for uncouth tackiness! Can you pronounce FOYER?
I love lemon balm, but it does spread. As soon as it finishes blooming (the bees love it), cut it back to about 1/3 height
I find wax (including Annie Sloan as per her advice) takes 2 weeks min to completely set, but honestly, 30 days to cure is about it for any kind of wax finish.
Really, like the look you got with Chalk paint on your kitchen cabinets. My kitchen hutch and sideboard could use a makeover.
Hello, will the spray POLYURETHANE yellow over time over light chalk paint? Thank you
❤
Thanks for sharing
Polycrylic literally says not recommended for chalk paint so I’m confused about this one
Great video on pysanky
This is probably the most helpful video! My family (almost all) has become catechumen and this will be our first Pascha! We didn't know what to expect and but everyone at church is so excited for it coming up.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
me and my granddaughter loved thanks so much for sharing the egg was beautiful!!!
i loved this the pysanky egg was beautiful thanks for sharing me and my granddaughter loved this!!!
As a young girl, my best friend's mother did this every Easter. I would sit for what seemed like hours, watching her make her beautiful eggs. I now wish that I had asked her to teach me, but alas, as a child, going outside to play was more fun than sitting for too long. I do love all of the intricate designs that an artist can make and share. Happy Easter.
If you need to get drones into the air with a bigger pay load and on a shorter runway as for bigger drones. Have you considered using a glider launching device, a whinch that pulls the glider along the ground to takeoff speed. The drone could be on a dolly so the wrinch pulls the dolly.
@@MG-fr3tn What does this have to do with what I said?
i am so glad i found you on this Easter Sunday, thank you so much.
This is such a beautiful art!
Could I bury the finished (unvarnished) egg in salt to speed up the drying process for the insides, or does that not make enough of a difference?
Learned a lot, very well done. Thank you!
It’s beautiful I love it gonna make one with my white and blue liberty blue dishes. What size wreath did you use?
So very beautiful! I love your gracious presentation and yes, the commentor below is accurate in her observation, though not at all "weird". God bless you and all of the younger people like you who care enough to create a lovely home and family. It ALL begins at home! I'm so happy that I discovered your channel and look forward to watching your future videos. Thank you!
Beautiful! Easy to follow instruction and very pleasant to watch. Thank you! Subscribed!
Great tutorial. Wish you had told us where we could find the books you mentioned
Not seeing the links for supplies
I'm a 76 year old dude and have never tried to do this art of Pysanky egg-decorating but tomorrow will be my first time to join a group to learn the art of decorating. I'm very excited and I have committed myself to perform well and enjoy the magic Pysanky egg decorating brings. Thank you for the Tutorial. You're an awesome instructor.
Note: No poly over Annie Sloan's wax. However, Annie Sloan's wax can be applied over Annie's fully dried lacquer. Could also wax, chalk paint and then lacquer. Annie's lacquer, which is water based, will not yellow chalk paint. Other manufacturer's topcoats may, while oil-based products will, yellow light colors over time, making them look dingy and dirty.
I teach this for our 4-H kids. I leaned as a kid and had the opportunity to bring it back to our community and teach the kids. This video was very helpful. Thank you.
how do you remove pencil marks after you remove the wax --without removing the dye?
Ok this video is so informative! However I was distracted by your beautiful lip color! Can you please let us know what colors that is? 😁
where did you get your kistka from please?
My Ukrainian roots have always prodded me learn this technique after watching my Grand mother when I was very young and only allowed to watch. 60 years later, here I am and very excited to learn.
Just rediscovered The Painted South and this popped up in my recommendations. I never get notifications, so it's difficult to keep up. I had been thinking about you, but couldn't remember the name of your channel. Looks like you're not posting anymore. I loved your style. Hope you've been well! So here I am re-watching the 4 year old video I "liked" back then.
Looks beautiful! So no need to strip the old stain?
So that the wreaths that I have do not mar the doors, etc., I take large pieces of folded felt and use pipe cleaners to attach to the back.
Paschal Homily always makes me cry 🥲 God bless, this is a beautiful video!
WOW I cannot imagine having Midnight Office and Matins at 11:30, only to return at 9 in the morning for Liturgy! Yikes! We do the whole thing starting 11 or 11:30, feast afterwards, and get home around 4:30. Then we sleep, and eat a little bit more, until Agape Vespers around 2 on Sunday. After that is when we eat more and do the kids' egg hunt. But it's crazy that they don't at least hold off until later for Liturgy-I would be asleep on my feet!
Beautiful love blue and white
You are an excellent teacher! Your step by step clips are great! Most of all, you are so encouraging!!! Thank you for this tutorial, I can’t wait to make mine.
Hello Justina, I just made a wreath and used your technique of using artificial moss at the back of the wreath. I noticed that there is a lot of loose moss falling. What do you think I should do? Please let me know. Thank you:)
In your current videos, you probably DO include a list of the tools, (like the metal pencil for applying wax) in the text description. I couldn’t understand the exact name of it & wouldn’t know how to find such an unusual tool. (Ofcourse Google knows everything!)
OMG ❤❤❤ the blue plate wreath
Beautiful I love the white and blue im gonna make one with my vintage white and blue plates thank you for your tutorial
Very beautiful i enjoy seeing you setting up the the table 😊
What was the size of your wreath?? And plates??
I'm just really afraid of having that fake snow all over my house when I transfer it from outside to indoors
Thank you for sharing this. I also am a Christian and found this so beautiful! I wish you were still doing these videos? What happened that made you quit? This is a testimony for others in the way that you share. Thank you.
Hello, Is there a certain size you are using. I have a set of old dishes that I can use. I only have the dinner size plate.
I've only watched this video twice and had no issue making this wreath! Directions were so clear that I was able to confidently make it weeks after I watched and had zero issues! His did you hang it? Now I'm terrified lol
I’m surprised how few Christmas videos I’m finding with GM/chinoiserie style of decorating. Loving your decor! Gorgeous!!!
