Good morning Justina ... Thanks for having my morning coffee with me! Such “sweet” company for sure! Elegant, stunning, sophisticated and very you! Every Christmas Tree Decorating Video I watch... I love! I love all the different styles, people’s taste and passions! Yes, there are many “farmhouse country “... their are many “French Country “.... then you have the “family and kids made ornaments “. .... ladies who bring in the“ vintage old fashion style”... I honestly can’t say I have a “favorite” or one I dislike.... I love what people love for their designer soul in them! Simply enjoying seeing their passion and love... it is all magical in its own way! But what I will say I love the most are the Nativity Scenes... Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus.... love that front and center of this Celebration. I have many sets and one is under a large glass cloches, one in a glass tabletop greenhouse, a small one centered on a glass cake stand with greenery around the pedestal of the stand on my coffee station... some on tiered trays....etc. it is hard when you are a Christian, but your spouse is not. I have a difficult time balancing without overpowering. I guess I can say “ thankfully” he doesn’t like Christmas so he pays no attention... but “tragically “ it breaks my heart for what he is blind to. So, saying all that, I find myself looking for their Nativity Sets and what beautiful ones they find! I am still amazed with your artistic ability with the painting of those ornaments! Very detailed and beautiful!!! Enjoy this season with your little one ! He is just coming into the age of understanding the “excitement” of the season ... if just for a few minutes! LOL!! It will only get better in the years to come! I miss those days of young ones around. I know it can be exhausting...but once they are gone and grandchildren live hours away... it becomes silence which takes a long time to accept! Love and hugs sweet lady.... beautifully done as I knew it would be!

Yay!! I think I have found the video that I have been looking for. I am familiar with The Painted South channel.. I really like her style as well. I am french at heart and I love Old World Christmas decor and Chinoiserie prints because of the nostalgic looks and feel that I get is overwhelming. We sharing similar liking, tea cups, ginger jars, and blue and white ceramic pieces, traditional, french, high ends items.. I have a saying, I like high end items, but I don't pay the devil's prices.. patience is a virtue. With that said, I have enjoyed watching your mini filmed videos. I am saving this video as my favorite.

Asthma is such a difficult thing to deal with, and unfortunately, not a lot of people understand how serious it can be. Sending a big hug to you. XO!

MissJustinaMarie ty. I was six weeks old when I had my first attack. I’ve had it my entire life but pretty much had other issues like bronchitis strep throat and all the other childhood junk. I do have triggers. Cheese. Wine and bread.

Where did you get those little lamps that are next to your blue and white ginseng jars, I have a perfect place for the little fellows. I just got a new bedroom set and they would go perfect on my new dresser. LOVE the ornaments, AS I have said before they are gorgeous, such a talent, something like this would make a GREAT GIVEAWAY. something you made yourself, something someone could cherish every Christmas and think of you my youtube friend, something that I won. Those little lamps were purchased by my Mom years and years ago (like 20 years ago?) and I don't know where she got them. I want to say Walmart, or maybe a catalog. I will ask her. We both have a memory for where we bought things, how much they cost, and what dress size we were when we bought them. (hahaha!) Also, I love your idea for the next giveaway. Thank you! Hi Vicki, and Merry Christmas! 🌹😘 Well, some of my Nativity ornaments are rather old but you’d be surprised what you can find on eBay if you don’t like to shop thrift or consignment.😁 Also, some churches have Christmas bazaars in the fall, so I would consider that as well.

Where is the French country inspiration?

Hi, Marie! Thanks for your question. Well, the main French Country influence is my Christmas tree and mantel. French Country Christmas decor typically includes a richly decorated mantel that rivals the Christmas tree, which is usually placed next to the mantel. The French Country mantel also usually has a gold, beveled mirror above the mantel. My mirror is built-in to hide the TV, so it's not gold, but it is beveled, so again, inspired by French Country. The gilded Nativity scenes are very French, as are the ribbon colors: the creams, French blue, and gold. I also tried to incorporate natural elements into the mantel, in particular pine cones. Most of the pine cones I found while walking with my son. The use of the pine wreath over the mirror is also inspired by French Country decor. Finally, French decor is subtle and elegant with an ethos of sophistication. While I can't say that I achieved that, I did do my best. I hoped that pairing French Country style with elements of Chinoiserie (17th and 18th c. French interpretation of East Asian art) would make for a high-end, unique yet traditional, look.
