Jeanith, thank you for your sweet compliment. 💙🌹I grew up in an area of the country where many people have thick regional accents, so I tried to be mindful of my diction starting in late junior high until it became “second nature.” I appreciate you taking notice. 😃 XO!!!

I love wallpaper, my husband, not so much. Lol we have managed to put that little disagreement behind us and are celebrating 43 years together. You and your husband did a great job, the wallpaper looks wonderful, and I like the shelves your husband built. So nice to have a handy husband.

Oh my word! Justina, this is more gorgeous than I even pictured it! I’m guessing it’s even more impressive in person. NO one gives better instructions, or demonstrates better than you do. Absolutely gorgeous! I loved your handsome little helper man, he had the technique down pat! My love, and appreciation for this one, now I’m pondering where can I use some peel and stick wallpaper. Xoxo❤️🥰❤️

Justina - I really enjoyed watching your video. I am currently restoring the home of my great grand parents. It is like an archeological dig and I have found several layers of wall papers from 1913 to the early 50s in each room. Like the project in your video it was applied over shiplap wall board and tacked on top of a cheese type cloth. I have been able to keep many great samples. I am restoring the house to its original 1913 structural condition and colors. However, because it is in the hot and humid Texas climate I will not be going back in with wallpaper and will leave the walls exposed. However, I would like to frame samples and put them on the walls to show how the house was adorned over time. I have been searching the internet like mad on how to preserve the papers but have had little luck. The papers are all very brittle and in my opinion need a backing of sorts to keep them from falling apart. I wonder what your opinion is about the use of a lining paper or other stock to stabilize the papers? If you are supportive of this type of method what materials and adhesives would you use? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Chris

The paper looks great in your bookcases. I had so much trouble removing wall paper years ago that I said that I would never have any wallpaper in my home again. I will wait to see if it is easy to remove after someone try’s to take it off years from now. It does look beautiful but I am just gun shy for now.

That paper look super expensive. Omg, it’s gorgeous. I must use that. I have bookcases in my formal living room. I’m wanting to use it. I love using wallpaper behind bookcases. You may not remember me, I’m the “blue and white” girl. I’ve always hung my own wallpaper. This may be more difficult than the regular paper however, there is no way regular paper like that would be reasonable. Thank you thank you

Awwww, thank you so much Christina! 🙏🏼🌹 It’s hard to give an accurate time frame for the project with filming involved (and dealing with our toddler, who was so not having it!) If we didn’t have to stop to do those things it probably would have taken an hour and a half from start to finish, not including restyling the bookshelves. I’m still working on getting g them just the way I like! Lol

Hi, Jessica! I’ve never worked with real wallpaper, so I’m not sure how much more difficult it will be, but I assume the biggest challenge will be the glue. Fortunately, it’s not a large space you’ll be doing...but it will make a huge difference! Thank you for watching!💕🙏🏼

Love the wallpaper BUT Monkeys freak me out I cannot stand Monkeys. I was very small and a friend of my folks wanted to give me one. He bite me and I am still to this day AFRAID to death of them. Like you needed to know that. The wall that has the peel and stick really brings a zest of color. As usual a great job. If you tire of it you can just yank it down, cannot do that with wallpaper, I just added fabric on the wall that goes to the ceiling above my fireplace. You use starch for this and like the peel and stick you can just yank it down and apply something else.
