They should reboot Jimmy Nutron. That show was weird but it was fun. If they stick with the CG style it will look amazing with today’s technology. I would be down for a 2D art style. It would give the characters more personality. It can be done, but I guess it depends on how much money the studio is willing to spend on the project.

honestly the best part about this show is the fact that it would replace commercials so as a kid seeing a half decent mini show instead of a swifter wet jet commercial was pretty cool

Toonami rewind just announced. Suit up. This was a perfect and accurate account of experiencing toonami from the beginning. I’m lucky enough to say I was there, my sister and I watching sailor moon and dbz on our local WB at 5 in the morning in the early mid 90s, watching Saturday night anime on the sci-fi channel. Our older brother was big in the early anime scene with bootleg tapes of early now iconic classics, showing them to us and us being completely enthralled. Toonami felt like a validation of everything we had experienced in the years leading up to it and made us realize that we weren’t alone. I was much older and fresh out of the service when I saw online that Toonami was back on April Fools Day. I hadnt watched since I joined the navy in 2005 but I heard that it had ended. I tuned in on a pirate stream as I didn’t have cable and watched until it ended at 5am. I’m glad I was there in its history. Fast forward to 2020, Covid lockdown had just started and me and my partner got cable, tv to watch or to have in the background. I hadn’t watched live tv in years at that point but I wanted something familiar and to my great joy, Toonami is still going strong. From that night til now, I’ve tuned in almost every Saturday night barring any social get together or outing. Support the things you love and believe in. Thank you for this video.

It wasn't a bad first episode. Things I enjoyed would probably be the premise of Cosmo and Wanda technically being retired; therefore their place as Hazel's Fairy Godparents happens kinda on a whim. I also like little subtleties like Hazel having pink and green fidget poppers on her bookbag, preemptively giving Cosmo and Wanda a "go-to" disguise when accompanying Hazel in public. Also Hazel's conversation with the trapped ant and discussing family, togetherness, and being able to branch out on one's own sometimes. My complaints would be the lighting of the show as there scenes are awkwardly lit and illuminated in certain scenes like Hazel's apartment. Also Cosmo and Wanda just sorta openly using their magic in public, recklessly at that. Outside of that, its a decent first episode, I'll certainly be checking out episode 2.

One of the most iconic episodes from the show, also a portion of the delays were from John K's extreme perfectionism that has also delayed the premieres of other episodes.

I've only watched the pilot, but I liked it so much that I'm DVRing the rest of the series. The art style is a little iffy to me, but at least the writing style is mostly the same as classic FOP, the voices are all wonderfully cartoony (sounds like someone new voicing Wanda, but she's growing on me), and there's enough connections and callbacks to the old show that I feel like I'm back at home. I'd much rather this show get overplayed to death (after Spongebob) than "Loud House."

2:29:30. I don’t think the joke was Beast Boy saw Raven, I think he was looking at Nightwing’s long luscious hair and said that wasn’t fair considering he’s now balding lol.

I know some are either cautious or negative towards the idea of this sequel reboot, but I’m actually looking forward towards it. I’ve seen a few small clips on Twitter from it and what I can say it looks good with its style and writing of the characters. It at least seems more promising and respectful of the original show compared to that live action show Fairly Odder that’s for sure.

I just saw the first episode and I am HOOKED so far!! They did my man cosmo some justice! He uses his brain to solve problems. Wanda isn’t some nag who’s smarter than everyone, instead she’s like a dorky mom type and I love it! Cosmo and Wanda show more love towards eachother in one episode than they ever have since season 4 of the show

The two standout episodes to me are Tale of Quicksilver and Tale of the Dark Music. Quicksilver's opening of the failed ritual as the girl realizes that she f***ked up spectacularly and is going to die was one of the most intense things child me had seen. Also, the entirety of Dark Music was memorable from the Cellar Monster introducing itself for the first time, that incredibly creepy doll form it chose for its second appearance, and that psychotic smirk on the kid's face as he heard his bratty sister shouting. To this day, I still skip the opening intro if I can help it.

That big-ass forehead. I love that they stuck with it through and through, just modifying the face so it looked much less off-putting.
