Wow! Thank you so much for the shoutout and credit. One of my followers passed this along to me earlier today. Awesome video! I loved your editing, especially how you interspersed those clips of the old ads and promos. I greatly appreciated your respect for the creative team, acknowledgement of the many positive things about the series and the way you shared honest constructive thoughts about the show’s flaws and infamous reputation. I’ve said for years that if there was truly nothing of value in this show, we would not be talking about it 20+ years later. I know people are sick of reboots but I still think this one would be a very good one to do and hope to make that someday. I just subscribed to your channel. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.

To more clearly put these thoughts into words, i don't think most people are tired of reboots as much as they are of *BAD* reboots. Most reboots do not capture the charm that made the originals so great because of a little thing called political correctness. There are far too many SJWs out there for a TRUE reboot to fluorish these days, and that's just sad. This issue has ruined television to such an extent that I have called this generation the Generation of Entitlement. It is no longer socially acceptable to separate FANTASY from REALITY and just enjoy entertainment for what it is. My favorite comedian George Carlin put this idea best with these words: "The FCC, an appointed body, not elected and answerable only to the President decided on its own that radio and television were not protected by the Constitution. Why did they decide that? Because they got a letter from a minister in Mississippi. Rev. Donald Wildmann heard something on the radio that he didn't like. Well, Reverend, did anyone ever tell you there are two knobs on the radio? One turns it off, the other changes the station!" This generation is now supported by their fellow SJWs in our government, and together they have become the scourge of modern creativity..

I ADORED Angela Anaconda growing up and it still holds a very special place in my heart at 30. It was one of the best cartoons to emerge from the Oh Yeah, Cartoon/Kablam Era, which I miss SO much. The animation isn't everyone's cup of tea but I love it. I like the way dark humor mixes well with all the zaniness. Angela wasn't a boring Mary Sue nor was she an absolute Demon. She was a realistic kid and hilarious so it was easy to root for her. The other kids weren't static, boring characters either. They did cover the typical roles and cliches of types of kids in school but they made the roles their own. And Nanette was insufferable even with her very few redeeming qualities . She didn't deserve to be put in a SAW trap or set on fire like Angela liked fantasize about but she definitely could've used a suckerpunch or two. Also, I didn't know about Digimon's connection to the show. I was a Pokemon kid and going to the movies was a rare treat back then but I learned something new. And I'll definitely check out Amazzon's channel. We need people like them to preserve content that's not as prioritized by mainstream archivsts. Merry Fringmas, man.

You’re welcome on my channel anytime! I have all the Angela stuff in a series of playlists. I remember as a kid being captivated by both the art style as I loved photography and the revenge fantasies. I loved how it was a normal thing that Angela was allowed to express her anger and make Nanette apologize in such a melodramatic way. When so many bullied kids, or even kids just going through normal bad experiences are only told to forgive, get over it, or stop being negative, it’s so vindicating to see anger to injustice as something normal and understandable.

This show was very surreal to younger me, and I was convinced that I'd imagined it for years. The more I see and learn of this show, the more I’m convinced that it would’ve had a better reputation if it were an adult comedy on Adult Swim. Being able to look back it's so clear how much not only this show but so many others really focused on 1950s nostalgia throughout the 90s. It makes sense especially since currently we're in a period where 80s nostalgia has been so popular honestly since the 2000s in so many different ways. Since I grew up in the 90s and clearly remember this show - and also a lot of the ads for Nick at Nite that followed the same type of look and aesthetic, I have so much love for it in generally. I'm sure there has to be a specific name for it (similar to a lot of design choices like Global Village Coffeehouse were in that time period) but it gives me such a warm cozy feeling, like keeping the old media around with the new and mashing them together. I say that generally - I haven't seen this show in decades since it would air on Nick and remember just watching it because it was on, but as an aesthetic piece of art itself, I appreciate it.

I got through the first 4-5 episodes, then I just had to stop. In theory, I love the idea of photo collage animation, but the execution here did nothing for me. What really turned me off, though, were Angela's voice and the repetitive plot structure. The show has it's enjoyably quirky moments, but bingeable, it ain't. Holy crap...I had actually completely forgotten this show! I remember occasionally the shows around it at the same time, but for some reason this one was locked away in a vault, tucked far far back in my mind. But you just jumpstarted that little cluster of dormant neurons in my brain by posting this, and it was honestly one of the strangest feelings Ive ever had. Like a twisted nostalgia, or surreal epiphany.

I loved Angela Anaconda. It's a series like Doug and As told by Ginger that I found very relatable and really enjoy the art and animation. Understandable that it doesn't immediately appeal to everyone but definitely worth a chance.

I loved this show as a kid, remembered when it debuted on Kablam and watched it all the time on Fox Family. As a kid and even now, I always gravitated towards cartoons with unique designs, so it immediately suck with me and caught my attention. Also loved the Digimon movie, watched it on vhs almost everyday 😂

FREAKING YES!! I watched it on Fox Family! I knew it from Kablam! first and liked it, but I LOVED the show both then and when I rewatched the whole thing on here a little while ago:):) Angela is just the kind of character I like, she reminds me SO MUCH of the equally great Steve from 'American Dad!' it isn't even FUNNY, right down to their VOICES (if you imagine her saying a good chunk of his dialogue, you'd swear it was actually hers!), I love how the kids always call each other by their whole names, and the style is so interesting and engaging. The Digimon thing was neat, but I'd MUCH rather have an Angela Anaconda Monster Squad movie;)

I do remember watching this as a teen, in my main language. It had a slightly different name. Angela's voice actor had a more pleasant voice so I don't recall being annoyed by listening to her talk. As for the art style, it always puzzled me on what the heck was I watching. Were their faces real, on animated bodies? I also remember comparing Angela's rival's face to a colleague I had at the time. Very pretty but she wasn't a bitch 😂 Overall: I liked it and I might rewatch it if I find it online. Good video 👏
