I remember enjoying it, but I ONLY remember one scene from the entire series. It was the halloween episode where the danger was on earth. Her crew didn't need disguises because they'd blend in as trick or treaters. The friend of Atomic Betty was a robot and was going "Boop Beep" and it got the robot companion really offended. I remember that being funny to me

Besides watching Ben 10 and later Invader Zim as a kid, I feel like Atomic Betty was one of the few reasons why I grew to love the sci-fi genre in media as much as I do with fantasy. It also helps the opening theme for Atomic Betty is so nostalgic in my mind.

I really like Betty's design. Probably because she reminds me of what some dolls in the 90s and 00s looked like (e.g. Betty Spaghetty) and tickles my nostalgia bone. There was definitely some Jetsons-esque Retrofuturism in the show's world, which I love. Perhaps a soupcon of Astro Boy/Tezuka, too. I didn't know AB was Canadian, but I'm not surprised. So many great cartoons come from the Great White North.

I used to tell everyone about it, draw the characters and I think even on a subconcious level the novel series I am working on might have had some seeds planted from this show Tried revisiting it in quarentine times and sadly it just didn't hold up for me, unlike many other shows I loved as a kid (Fosters, As Told By Ginger, Spongebob) Maybe I should give it another shot.

It's honestly so nice to see someone talking highly of this show ^^ It was absolutely fantastic! Very very nice video! I do hope that one day they consider releasing all the seasons of it on possibly blu ray or something in the future. I'd pay good money for that!

I watched it at first but at the time I was introduced to action cartoons and anime and quickly connected with them, anime quickly being my go to for a while with all the live action stuff taking over CN, Nick, and Disney at the time.

Fun fact: The voice actress who played Penelope Lang also voiced Mimet in the Cloverway dub of Sailor Moon. (Catherine Disher)

YES!!! I absolutely loved Atomic Betty as a kid and I'm so happy more people are talking about it now! Betty was my idol and I always wanted to be a Galactic Guardian like her. This show was part of the reason I got into sci-fi and space-related stuff in the first place, eventually leading up to my discovery of my biggest and longest-lasting special interest in my life thus far (You know the one 😉✨🦊🐦🐰🐸)

I was thinking of Atomic Betty last week. Now after fully watching the video: I loved watching this on Sunday nights alongside Totally Spies. Betty is like a mini Kim Possible and I love that about her.

Thanks Jordan for this, I was waiting very patiently for this one to come out (just like I was with "WAIT... Remember What's New, Scooby-Doo?" back in October) and it was well worth the wait. 😁
