Wow , this is the most amazing footage of what the Pike sees as it stalks the lure then attacks . I gotta say these newer plastic swim baits are so real looking & with such great action it must be a blast to fish them . We here in MD don't have much in the way of huge Pike & Muskies which sucks but that's the way it goes . I spent two weeks in Itasca County in Minnesota some years back & we really only had Daredevil Spoons in silver & yellow with red diamond patterns & we caught lots of great Pike but nothing i would call a monster but they are there . Thanks for sharing this fascinating look at the world under the surface & for anything not a top predator i feel sorry for them but then again they never knew what hit them . I was looking at a clip of these baits from Japan that are segmented plastic & they are so life like it's scary real & some that have plastic Pike heads & some type of hair like a fly rod lure & they are huge but weigh zilch & some awesome action to them.

Wow! Catch and release in 2024. Dude! Don't catch fish to eat and then release them again, otherwise it will cause unnecessary stress and injury to the animals. Try that in this pond with high pollution and fish die offs yearly with a low population of fish due to all the anglers keeping the fish all in the middle of Toronto one of the most polluted city in all of Canada
