Salmon Fishing Lake Ontario, Port Credit - Rapala J13 - 2020

Спорт

Today the hot lure was the Rapala J13 in Firetiger. I ended up losing both of my lures due to trying to power them in instead of letting them fight and getting them tired. I don't mind losing fish but it sucked losing my lures.
GEAR USED
Rod: G Loomis E6X 10' Medium Heavy

I cast them when I know the fish are within casting distance. I find they become very competitive and aggressive towards each other and that’s when they smash these j13s. They’ll start coming closer to shore when water temps get cooler

Hamza H I see him fishing there all the time. I’m usually careful when I use j13s over there and barely get snagged with them. I lost my lures due to the rocks rubbing my mainline. I should’ve followed my first fish and for the second one, I shouldn’t have tried horsing it up to the surface. Stupid mistakes on my part
