Rouge Head those 2 are actually stocked hatchery rainbow trout. They released about 250 or so in the river back in mid March. This was the first time I’ve seen them in the river

That little CD Rapala just is a fish catcher. Small creeks, big creeks, day or night. If I only had one lure ( god forbid), for trout that would be it. Pump tight lines to you.

x.itsgreenbaby x. That’s sick. You see the guy across from me who has a fish on before I caught the brown? He said he lost a brown prior that broke him off. When I landed this brown, it had the guys leader with a chartreuse roe bag in its mouth

Keiran Rooker you’re better off holding on to that money. You don’t need a guide to fish for salmon in the rivers. You’re better off casting for them at the mouth of any river that connects to Lake Ontario

Hey there, I went fishing for the first time last weekend while camping and we hooked a few tiny bass. It got me and my girlfriend hooked on fishing (pun intended!) and we were trying to find out places to fish in/near Toronto and it seems late August/early September is when Salmon start coming so any place you'd recommend for a two beginners? We were looking at the Meadowvale Conservation Area, but then saw your Port Credit video. Is that where it opens right into Lake Ontario? Also any lure recommendations? I have a few Rapala Husky Jerks, thinking of getting a panther martin as well. Thanks for any reply!

I2ecreate port credit and the credit river at erindale park should be a good beginner spots for salmon. At the mouth of the river we usually use spoons in 3/4oz to cast and rapala j13s. As for the river, most people float fish for them drifting eggs under a float

@@PUMPKNOWSFISHING Thanks for the reply! I went yesterday night from 6pm - 12am and saw 2 guys catch something down by the pier, one brown trout and another guy lost the fish. People were saying salmon were coming in a bit late this year. It's also pretty rocky there so I snagged a few times, and lost one spoon. I'll probably try again in a few weeks haha As for floats and eggs, any recommended guide or video to help me get started? I'm trying to figure out a shopping list of what to get. Thanks again for all the help!
