Tbh I dont think Stolas is actually in love with Blitz right now after their talk in this episode. He's in love with the thought of being someones someone. He most likely wanted this someone to be Blitzø but I dont think it's actually love until now - you dont make out with someone else less then 24h after your crush rejected you if it's love no matter how angry and broken you are. Imo both are at the same point of their situationship but they are the complete opposite of each other and Blitz might actually be the first to actually fall in the end. Would love to see him give Stolas his romcom moment lmao

Excited for the next reaction you make! The next episode is coming out in October and even vivziepop herself said it’s possibly gonna be the best in season 2! I’m so damn excited to see how this goes. But in the meantime this is gonna be best of blitz with this apology thing. Can’t wait to see how they work that out

Besides acting as a firing brace for Captain Ashiro, I suspect she also keeps the tiger as a Kaiju detector. When the team's going over post-op cleanup plans, the tiger (I've been calling 'em Byakko, for want of a canon name) is the first one to sense the Yoju swarm overhead, and we also see a similar reaction to Kafka when he passed too close at one point -- for some reason, it seems like certain animals are sensitive to the presence of Kaiju, making them a useful early-warning tool.

a little head cannon i have seem people like is that Blitz is Aromantic A-Romantic means a person is unable to or has difficulty; understanding and expressing Romantic attraction. it's different from Sexual and Platonic Attraction. (Blitz is Pansexual btw) blitz kind checks alot of boxes 1) confusion at being wanted just because 2) dismisses somethings stolas says with "thats a sitcom" and "thats the gayest thing i have heard all day". as they they are overly sappy 3) a fascination with M&M, like he understands what they have is beautiful, but at the same time doesn't get it. example being in Truth Seekers. "she is always 5 feet away from you, it's pathetic" 4) you can see in this episode that, he is gradually beginning to have the realization... that those Sappy feelings, are everywhere. that he is starting to think he is the odd one out for not getting it....

This is the episode I believe was the start of Blitz changing for the better. He showed hints of not liking how he is before, but this showed an earnest attempt to be honest about his feelings to Mox. This is one of my favorite episodes of the show, and as the number 1 fave until recently. This also solidified Stolas as my fave. I loved him before, but his demon form and horror entrance made me fall in love. I love both bad trips. I think I recall someone saying the voices of all the characters in Blitz's trip were voiced by Brandon Rogers so its his memory of the people he hears. Also Blitz's side brings attention to his internal fears which is what affects the rest of the seasons."You're gonna die alone".

Universally regarded as THE best episode of helluva boss. Lots of depths. Great humor. Like 4 styles of animation. Awesome music. Open ending. Just the best. My favorite episode is Ozzies, but Truthseekers is simply the best episode.

There's a _lot_ of nuance about the cast that we pick up in this episode. Among other things, we found out that Loona knows Blitzø well enough to know when he's serious, and explicitly listens to him in those circumstances; that Moxxie is scared of judgment and social rejection and hides his opinions and feelings to avoid being shunned for them; and that despite the devil-may-care facade he puts up, Blitzø's a mass of insecurities who cares about protecting the people closest to him and both _craves_ and _fears_ intimacy because of the trauma and regret he's still running from. Season 2 expands on the _why_ of what all we learned about the cast here, but this episode was _really_ foundational. The Spindlehorse team doesn't _miss!_

And yeah, like I said in the stream chat, I applied for an animation position at Spindlehorse in September of last year. Didn't pan out, and having seen what they were working on, I can't fault them for wanting the best of the best -- but hey, maybe I'll have better luck with a voice-acting gig, once Horseless Cowboy has another casting call.

The one guest on that Party who really and wholeheartedly hated Blitzo was Blitzo himself, which is really sad… Everyone else is there because they still care. And when Verosika noticed it and that he genuinely want to change, she calls him Blitz instead of Blitzo.

15:41 : that's him, he just lost the accent for the song hahaha (I still think he sounds like Stolas though), most of the time he still has the accent he fakes even while singing (he's American not British), while real British people will lose their accent while singing (I think that proves that he is really good because staying with a fake accent while singing is hardhaha) Blitz needed to hear this, but Stolas still made some mistakes, he doesn't see the classist way he has because the rest of his family is waaaaay worse than he could ever be (if that was the case he wouldn't even be at this party or wouldn't have even accepted to go at Ozzie's with Blitz in public), however he made more steps to communicate with Blitz but not always the best way. I fully believe the way he says "my little plaything in s1ep6 was more to play the part as a big bad demon in front of the humans, but still we can get why Blitz would take it for himself in a bad way because he says some other things in other moments (itsy bitsy imp for example) and even if they are said as a form of endearment it doesn't translate that way. Blitz is the one who made it more complicated by ghosting Stolas and not wanting to hang out and talk with Stolas outside of s*x, wich is tragic irony ha. Specifically we can see and hear that Stolas makes effort other time in the show (he stops calling Blitz Blitzy in public little by little or cuts down real quick the horny dialogues for example), and time happens between the episodes (which I feel like a lot of people forget while watching the show) and we see that through the interactions and in the details in the backgrounds and or details in the dialogues. But yeah Stolas is still ignorant in a lot of ways and doesn't understand how he could come up as belittling sometimes (and that's not going to change if no one tells him) Both of them have things to take care of before it gets better between them. Also communication wise, the ball is in Blitz's court now because Stolas talked about most of his grievance to him in this episode.

Always wondered is the always in the US all they can get to or only what we are told b/c I would think a portal would be anywhere interdimensional. They'd have more customers and be noticed less. Is there a Latin America accessing Stolas , Africa accessing and do they have conventions....and the second I allowed myself to unsuspend disbelief is gone. LOVE THIS EPISODE! B&M Psycho attacking his fat mom's son was perfection.

Finally someone gets it. In this world, you don't need to eat, drink or sleep, but you still can. And as Caine said, it's a world where anything can happen. You're trapped in a world where all your fantasies can be made a reality, and to me that sounds better than being trapped in real life where you have to find a job, pay bills, have the anxiety of interacting with real people... I mean the Digital Circus has real people, but most characters in there are Caine, Bubble and the characters during the adventures, which are all AI. And no matter how real the AIs' feelings seem, they aren't actually real. So it doesn't really matter what you do in this world. You can hurt them if you want. Who cares ? They aren't real. And for real interactions, the other humans are there. You're not alone in there. If I were, it probably would get upsetting after a while even for an introvert like me. You're literally being transported inside video game worlds and you're free to do whatever you want in them. Caine can create an endless amount of various worlds and characters for you to interact with. Also Caine wanted to make an exit for them, not understanding that they want to leave, not an area labelled exit. But that also means Caine is open to hear about what the humans want. If you want a specific kind of adventure, you can just tell him about it and he probably will be okay with it. If you disliked a certain adventure, he'll probably also take it into account. And he's not the one trapping the humans there. All he does is try to keep them distracted so that they don't go insane. The only real threat is going insane and abstracting, but if you enjoy your time there, it probably won't happen to you anyway.

This was the first assassination attempt that happened to Stolas that he never found out about. Blitz never told him. Its what was brought up in latest episode. I loved how this detail was kept from us all the way till season 2 ep 9. Fans have speculated if Stolas was ever told, but newest ep revealed he wasnt. Shows how much they try to keep details going

It also explains why Stolas didn't immediately realize he was in danger when Striker nabbed him in 'Western Energy' -- from his perspective, Striker was just the ranch-hand that Blitzø competed with at the Festival.

@@Nitrinoxus Ehhh somewhat, before he was kidnapped he was shot at which he dodged. Even when he realized it was blessed rope that bound him, he wasn't too fearful. It almost feels like he thought the same as Blitz, that he couldn't actually get hurt/be in danger. The blessed weapons causing him pain finally hit him.

And we could theorize together 🙋🏼♀️ And it's interesting that this is likely the first time Blitz was the one getting dumped in the relationship which is why this is his ultimate wake up call. And another little detail I noticed: In the beginning Blitz said he sorry-ed Fizz so hard he cried even though it was actually him who was crying, not Fizz😌

I love what they did with this episode. It explored so many emotions and feelings, but also had some easter eggs for some comic relief so its not super sad. An easter egg I keep recognizing is an imp in a Beetlejuice costume when Blitz and Verosika are talking. Also I just love indie stuff like this in general because there aren't deadlines and the artists aren't super stressed out by getting things done super super fast so theres so many little details and real life things in al the episodes.

This was the first assassination attempt that happened to Stolas that he never found out about. Blitz never told him. Its what was brought up in latest episode. I loved how this detail was kept from us all the way till season 2 ep 9. Fans have speculated if Stolas was ever told, but newest ep revealed he wasnt. Shows how much they try to keep details going
It also explains why Stolas didn't immediately realize he was in danger when Striker nabbed him in 'Western Energy' -- from his perspective, Striker was just the ranch-hand that Blitzø competed with at the Festival.
@@Nitrinoxus Ehhh somewhat, before he was kidnapped he was shot at which he dodged. Even when he realized it was blessed rope that bound him, he wasn't too fearful. It almost feels like he thought the same as Blitz, that he couldn't actually get hurt/be in danger. The blessed weapons causing him pain finally hit him.

Some bird species _do_ shed keratin from the outer layers of their beaks over time, though, so there's at least a kernel of truth buried somewhere in there.
I guess there was some tidbit getting passed around on social media saying this. I googled out of curiosity and found some wildlife experts debunking the myth. Really gotta wonder where some of this stuff comes from.

I love what they did with this episode. It explored so many emotions and feelings, but also had some easter eggs for some comic relief so its not super sad. An easter egg I keep recognizing is an imp in a Beetlejuice costume when Blitz and Verosika are talking. Also I just love indie stuff like this in general because there aren't deadlines and the artists aren't super stressed out by getting things done super super fast so theres so many little details and real life things in al the episodes.
