I quit my job like a week before the episode got released. 😅

So the reason Blitz didn't kill the deranged fan was bc it was revealed in an earlier episode that Fizz rly doesn't like blood and he was literally already having a panic attack behind him so he just handled it in the least bloody way he could until later when he knew he wasn't panicking as much and had Oz there.

something i saw on another reaction that i like to point out: asmodeus is a flame. the only flame fizz isn't scared of.

Fizz interacting with Ollie (the deaf impling) are some of my FAVORITE in the episode.

An interesting thing about Alex Brightman (Fizz's voice actor) is that the voice he uses for Fizz actually comes to him pretty easily and doesn't harm his voice. I believe he talked about it in an interview about Beetlejuice because he uses a similar voice for that role.

That role directly influenced both Fizz's voice and his design, at least in his first appearance -- Robo-Fizz's aesthetic was meant to mirror Beetlejuice's, and in this episode, we saw that Mammon's aesthetic and Demon King form share that same striped, black, white and green scheme.

Notice, when he's first dumping on women not being funny, it says who wrote the script. 😊

fizz is actually voiced by alex brightman, the same va that voiced both adam and sir pentious in hazbin hotel, thats why he sounds familiar

26:00 Alex Brightman has a lot of experience singing in that voice (also he's sort of a 'mutant' and he can do this grainy voice basically effortlessly without hurting his throat), he did it multiple times in Broadway as Beetlejuice

"whats he eating" Cheese and Hotsauce. its his favorite snack. you see him eating it in S1 ep5 too. he also says it as a sort of "omg" phrase during the flashback with the creep. also, Blitz would not be able to do a thing to Mammon. Mammon is the Sin King of Greed. he is much higher on the food chain than Blitz is.

Seeing and hearing Fizz struggling with impostor syndrome was really powerful for me, as someone who grapples with those same exact feelings of not being good enough for the people in my life. It's not just a matter of positive self-talk, like John suggested -- folks like us genuinely struggle to recognize our own value, and often place more stock in what others say about us, _especially_ when it's unflinchingly negative (because negativity is honesty, while praise can just be 'what you want to hear'). High-maintenance as we can be, though, it's really helpful to have someone with the patience and compassion to share some of their light. That's what's so great about Ozzie in this episode: even when Fizz struggles to believe in his own value, Ozzie's able to believe enough for the _both_ of them, and provides an unconditionally supportive anchor to help Fizz stay grounded. They're _so_ goddamn good for each other, and I absolutely love it.

talking about Fizzy’s voice I think you might enjoy listening to the beetlejuice musical might have a familiar voice (same as pentious, Fizz and Adam)

Gotta love the diversity and the designs of the audience and crowds.

Needed to hear your talk on taking positive comments and ignoring negative. Thanks John! People loved Fizz already by this episode, but when the little deaf boy came for the meet n greet and Fizz started signing to him Fizz melted everyone's heart and cemented him as one of the best characters in the show. This episode is close to top fave for nearly everyone it seems. "2 Minute's Notice" is one of my favorite songs. It's so relatable if you ever wanted to quit and tell off a boss. The music in this episode was peak tear and by several composers.

So Micheal Cusack (Mammon) And Zack Hadel (That one high pitched screaming guy from the crowd throughout the ep) are a couple of animators from KZread who together got picked up by Adult Swim with their show 'Smiling Friends', which I would recommend to check out. 🤘

funniest thing about this episode to me will forever be that fuckin Monopoly is literally in hell (in the background of Fizz' dressing room) just where it belongs 😂😂 haha and especially in the Greed ring, love it 😂😂😂

Lower royals like Stolas can only be killed by angelic steel which Blitz lacks anyway, and if any demon is immune to even that stuff it'd be a Sin.

Mammon on the other hand is a manipulative POS who makes Fizz think that he needs this so he can keep exploiting him. Fizz can quit anytime he wants to which is why Mammon keeps manipulating him into not leaving. Angel Dust on the other hand can't leave at all so Val doesn't even waste time with manipulation

lol zach and mike make some of the best voices. zach was the audience guy, mike was mammon. and they made the show "smiling friends" which is a fever trip.

Now I'm curious to see you watch Look my way again with your friend, that should be interesting x)

Couple of things: 1 - I love thinking the first time Blitz didn't kill the annoying fan it was because of both considering the crowd & Fizz' state; 2 - I love how Ozzie refers to Fizz as "demon" instead of "imp" - only shows he's above the class rankings and really loves him. 3 - Love how you caught up just in time to get Full Moon too >. 4 - As for recommendations: if you haven't seen them you can check out (in this order) Gravity Falls & then The Owl House + Amphibia possibly at the same time; also Kipo & the Age of Wonderbeasts is cool & DEFINITELY Arcane. Oh, & maybe Legend of Vox Machina. I just saw they've announced a date for its (hopefully) last season >.

I can say that this mid season episode was the most entertaining one till months to wait for the second half for season 2 to resume 😁 also fun fact on Glam Sisters are voiced by the same VA of Katie Killjoy from the Hazbin Hotel pilot episode and than the little imp that sign language with fizz is named Oliver 🥹 with that said, his horn that is broken symbolizes lacking of hearing throughout the world of Helluva Boss.

Man this really is a great episode, all the songs in it slap so hard and the character development is so good too! It has been such an incredible ride being along for all of this. Also in case you missed it, Mammon is voiced by Michael Cusack. He's the guy who did the Australian Rick & Morty animation, Bushworld adventures. And he's the cocreator of the show "Smiling Friends" on adult swim. Btw you forgot to unlist this and episode 6 of Helluva Boss season 2. Just fyi. But if you wanna see more independently produced shows, I have some reccomendations. First is probably "Lackadaisy" about alcohol smuggling in the 1920's but everyone are cats. There's "The Amazing Digital Circus" by one of Vivziepops close friends Gooseworx. Its basically an Isekai into an old PC game ruled by a crazy AI with loads of existential dread. There's "Monkey Wrench", a sci-fi action comedy about 2 bottom rank mercinaries doing odd jobs across the galaxy.

What an episode.
