I think the reason it is 7 days is because 1. the jura Forrest is quite massive even when traveling just to the next big city. Just like when they mentioned it that from Rimurus place Dwargon was over a month away by foot and even with the Dire Wolf ride it was still 3 days. So with preparation one week seems reasonable. 2. I once read from other comments that by Souei recommending 7 days he kind of puts the Lizards to the test to hold out until then so they can prove that they are not putting all the responsibility on their support. But I would say this is only partly true because 7 days seems to be as fast as possible.

It took Gabiru 4 days to get back there after all. So yeah, it's a very long distance from Tempest to the Lizardman territory.

I never even really thought about it. Though a lot of that does make perfect sense.

I seriously cannot wait for more. This show does such a good job keeping up hype momentum. Like, that was my favorite thing about the show when I first watched. I have no problem with shows that have prolonged battles. But at the same time, when giant conflicts and battles take 15 episodes to cover one battle it CAN feel unnecessarily long. And there is a place for that pacing - and I watch and love plenty of shows with that pacing. But I like how quickly and naturally- as in not rushed - the momentum of this show is.
