There's a _lot_ of nuance about the cast that we pick up in this episode. Among other things, we found out that Loona knows Blitzø well enough to know when he's serious, and explicitly listens to him in those circumstances; that Moxxie is scared of judgment and social rejection and hides his opinions and feelings to avoid being shunned for them; and that despite the devil-may-care facade he puts up, Blitzø's a mass of insecurities who cares about protecting the people closest to him and both _craves_ and _fears_ intimacy because of the trauma and regret he's still running from. Season 2 expands on the _why_ of what all we learned about the cast here, but this episode was _really_ foundational. The Spindlehorse team doesn't _miss!_

And yeah, like I said in the stream chat, I applied for an animation position at Spindlehorse in September of last year. Didn't pan out, and having seen what they were working on, I can't fault them for wanting the best of the best -- but hey, maybe I'll have better luck with a voice-acting gig, once Horseless Cowboy has another casting call.

@@Nitrinoxus Yeah. Heck even if not at Spindlehorse, I'm sure there are many other indie productions that could use your help. Spindlehorse may be the leading animation collective in the Indie space alongside Glitch but there are so many others too and other one off projects. Keep looking my man.

Vortex is tough, but I wonder if he's seen the same battle experiences as Luna. Luna's a force to be reconned with.

Anxious for the reaction of the next episode

The animation for Moxx's hallucination was of higher quality on purpose, than the rest of the show, to show the difference in Moxx's trip and reality. Of course, we all saw how Blitzø's trip changed as he saw the different hateful characters that plague his psyche constantly. I liked how Fizz looked like something from a 1920s' cartoon, like Felix the Cat or Betty Boop. The fight scene was chef's kiss, with the music only enhancing the action. Each I.M.P. character got camera time during the battle, which was really cool to me.

This is the episode I believe was the start of Blitz changing for the better. He showed hints of not liking how he is before, but this showed an earnest attempt to be honest about his feelings to Mox. This is one of my favorite episodes of the show, and as the number 1 fave until recently. This also solidified Stolas as my fave. I loved him before, but his demon form and horror entrance made me fall in love. I love both bad trips. I think I recall someone saying the voices of all the characters in Blitz's trip were voiced by Brandon Rogers so its his memory of the people he hears. Also Blitz's side brings attention to his internal fears which is what affects the rest of the seasons."You're gonna die alone".

There have been tons of fantastic episodes that I absolutely love since this one, but I think Truthseekers still remains my favourite. What a blast to watch you guys react to it.

Universally regarded as THE best episode of helluva boss. Lots of depths. Great humor. Like 4 styles of animation. Awesome music. Open ending. Just the best. My favorite episode is Ozzies, but Truthseekers is simply the best episode.

They do have that order at Starbucks and every barista can't stand it. Its on the secret menu and is called the mox

Always wondered is the always in the US all they can get to or only what we are told b/c I would think a portal would be anywhere interdimensional. They'd have more customers and be noticed less. Is there a Latin America accessing Stolas , Africa accessing and do they have conventions....and the second I allowed myself to unsuspend disbelief is gone. LOVE THIS EPISODE! B&M Psycho attacking his fat mom's son was perfection.

I think it would honestly be more of a case that it's the only country the DHORKS have surveillances of. I don't think that their customers would be limited to one country like that.
