How much oxiclean do you use
Starts at 1:38
Ohhhh those neighbours, always demanding that clear beer 😬
I just bought one. How did you mount it to your brew table?
Great vid' ! 😄 Many thanks ! 😀
Cold water? Hot water? Or room temperature. I want to save the label. That’s my purpose
1:47 <--- click that to skip past the life story and get to the point.
When using the RIMS system, would you still have to sparge from a separate tank to mash tun while transferring to the brew kettle? Or would you add the extra water volume(sparge water) to the mash tun to compensate for volume loss? Awesome video and system by the way.
Am I able to do this while its plugged in?
For what it’s worth I force carb almost all my beer. You can take a 60 degree Fahrenheit beer transfer to a keg, force carb at 9:00 am and be drinking it at 5:00 pm. I just gas it (standing up and rocking) to 35 psi and throw it in the fridge. Pull it out again by 2:00 pm and hook to the gas at 35psi and rock it for another minute or two. And chuck it back in the fridge. When I pull it out to serve at 5. I purge most the pressure snap on the faucet and start pouring. I seldom even have to hook up to the co2 tank the beer is so gassed that if I trickle beers into the glass the faucet keeps running. I have found this to be a convenient method for me. I don’t drill holes in the beer fridge just pull the keg out at 5 set it on the floor and enjoy a few beers. Five gallon kegs don’t last a week around here so what would be improper handling never has a chance to be a problem.
you have to wait 5 hrs after you have made your wort before pitching your yeast?
Guy in green seemed to be a little too drunk and on their nerves.
Great video. I’ve got an Irish red ale that’s should be done fermenting by the end of this month and I need to have it carbonated by February 1st
It amazes me how so many of us ended up with Brutus builds and knock offs when we just needed a good rolling cart.
do you have to change the thermostat on your deepfreeze to use it to keep beer cold
Right to the point thanks...
1:50 btw
If it doesn’t seal it may be missing the rubber o’ring seal that is supposed to be in the lid
Well done!
Am on my 3rd batch of 'hard cider'. (Yes, yes, I've done beers, ales, etc.) I used Belle Saison yeast. OG=1.052, FG=1.002. I used cold-pressed, unpasteurized, unmolested, zero chemical, zero preservative-laden natural apple juice. Took ages (a month) for the initial fermentation to diminish to the point that I could rack it. I had to rack a 2nd. time to really reduce the lees. I bottled it with 1 carbonation pill per 12oz bottle, and let them sit in the 64°F basement for 2 weeks before I refrigerated two for a taste test. Results were pretty darn good: medium fizz, slightly dry, definite apple taste, with no off-aromas (sulphur) or tastes. Wifey liked it a lot. Next time I am going to backsweeten with some light brown sugar (1 tsp per bottle) and add a couple of drops of commercial grade apple flavor.
8 years later it's still a great beer.
How much oXy should I use Bro ? I'm just after the labels and wanna get them without tearing them up.
if you're just after the labels, just use a lighter and warm up the label lightly and peel off
@@TheCandee93 I did the Oxy Clean thing. Worked like a charm. Added 1 scoop to a sink full of hot water , then let them sit for about an hour and a half , and the labels were practically falling off. No damage to the labels either.
At about 3 minute mark doesn’t say how long to run it through the dip tube like that? Hours? Days?
Sub'd! Awesome Channel! I've started homebrewing....and LOVE IT! CHEERS
Awesome! I bought one for my system and look forward to using it! I didn’t know exactly where to put it so I’m glad that I saw your video! Thanks 🙏 cheers 🍻
)))
thanks. sometimes you have good foam on beer but when you taste it its not enough carboneted, how causes this :/ if its not enough carboneted why we have enough foam on beer...
Do you have a video on harvesting yeast, and maybe long term storage or dehydrating?
Hey I got this same fermentor but haven't used it yet. Unfortunately the temperature is too hot/humid where I am located but looking forward to lagering with it when I get another fridge. Is there a way to use the collection ball instead of a secondary fermentor to remove excess yeast/trub without introducing more O2?
Thank you for a really helpful video. It was the best gift I could have received today.
wrong info
How much do you add to a sink full of water? 5 containers, 2 table spoons ....?
The background noise overwhelms this presentation. Just wondered why it was added to the mix.
No need for 30psi Cold crash the beer to say 10c , i put 10 psi on it ,lie the keg down , turn it so the gas diptube is at the bottom ie under beer. Rock it until noise of gas bubbles stops , takes about 15 mins. I also have a non return valve on my gas tube so no risk of beer getting into the reg.
Where can I find out how to assemble the O-rings?

I want to save labels for crafting. This is great!
Hey guys! thanks for all the tips. Very helpful. Quick question: at the end of the video you said you hit the keg again with 35psi 4 hours before trying to serve it. Do you have to release the pressure before hitting again the keg with the CO2?
I love the trick where you pressurized it first and then reconnected it to the out, very enlightening, doing this as I write this, my first batch and its delicious !!
excellent video thank you for the great tips
carbing through the out line is genius.....thanx for that pro tip.....awesome....
MAESTRO, que medidas es el sparge? Tubo y platillos. Saludos desde Argentina
I want to watch audio is just to bad
Great vid thx ;) btw, what's the name of the intro/outro song ?
Wow! Thanks !! I’m going to try it. I have a Lagunitas “Little Sumpin’” beer label I want to save . 😁
Did leaving the lid off cause and heating issues or was your element able to keep up?
How long does it take for that to heat everything? And how many gallons are you heating?
Brutal
🤤🤤🤟🇧🇷
