Liquid Memoir

Hi, my name is Gabriel. I love everything about food and drinks! I've worked as a bartender in major cities such as NYC, Miami, and Puerto Rico. Through my passion, I created Liquid Memoir, a place to create drinks and memories in hopes to share them with You. I will focus on everything related to cocktails. From classics, modern, to original craft cocktails. I hope you find this channel entertaining through its unique videos, and inspire you to try these drinks at home. Follow me on this journey while we sip a drink, or two.

Hello my friend . I enjoyed the video and the cocktails too . Only one question …you said the “brown”disaronno has kosher certification. The white one has it too ?

I may be learning how to taste tequila. That said, it does seem more flavorful than Clase Azul. This was 86, and Clase Azul was 186. Both go down really nicely. Great accent, btw.

Be careful recommending cocktails that tastes of dirty and possibly poisonous roots. Fernet can be good in small quantities hidden behind other flavours as long as the flavour blends. Fernet coke is a bit on the right way but not really there. My bottle of Fernet will probably last five years and I like to drink.

You can't find it quite easily because it goes quickly. I get it every year when I transition through Dublin, Ireland airport. If you're close to Canada like me, you can cross the border to a liquor store over a long weekend holiday such as President's day.

Just a note, that you should leave it out at room temperature for three days after bottling and then you should refrigerate it. Allowing it to stay out will create a lot more carbonation because putting it in the fridge right away will cause it to stop fermenting. That's why you didn't get a lot of bubbles when you opened it

i don't think sipping different mezcals in the same glass is a good idea. and i wouldn't wear lipstic either when i'm tasting. i actually see the lipstick glued on rim of the glass when she says the last mezcal "taste like lipstic" :) i think that's really just the lipstick :p nice video though

You can do it without a juicer. Just dice the apple and use a muddler to smash out the juice

This is another favourite cocktail of mine! Delicious! I have always been a huge fan of Fernet Branca! I love this drink at the end of a long day when I want to sip slowly on a lovely libation!! I use a good quality block of ice and the cocktail doesn't dilute quickly. Thanks so much!! 🙂

This is in my top 10 favourite cocktails! I love it and enjoy a Toronto cocktail whenever I remember to make one! I love using Canadian Rye which is superb, 100 Rye and sometimes I use Bulleit Bourbon but being in Vancouver I love accessing Canadian Rye! Lot 40 is my favourite - fabulous!! Fernet is a love of mine! Spectacular!! Ice is a big part of the cocktail for me. I make clear blocks of ice!! 🙂

I am a huge Martini fan - bracingly cold, very dry (I wash the ice with Dry Vermouth and strain it out leaving only the slightest amount of Vermouth!!) and then expressing organic lemon spritz onto the Martini!! Sometimes I add 2 drops of good quality orange or grapefruit bitters! The grapefruit are actually very nice as I think they pair beautifully with the Gin! Loving the Martini so much makes me think I would really enjoy The Tuxedo Number 2!! It looks fabulous and oh so delicious!! I have never had one and I am definitely going to make one for friends and myself before dinner tonight! I even have all the ingredients! I love that you also enjoy St. George's spirits! They are amazing! Terrific video! Cheers!! 🙂

Why do you add water in large batch? Can it be made without water?

  • @yams02
    @yams02 Жыл бұрын

I think because typically when you make a drink in a shaker, the ice breaks up and dilutes the drink. But because there is no ice, there is no dilution. So the water is to compensate for that

I paid 22€ for a bottle of this in March. The beauty of tax-free Andorra. An absolute steal at that price. Sadly couldn't find any 15yr (that's around £150 in the UK).

Hi, lately there's a huge hype about a tequila with a distinctive look and sound from the sound of the bottle cap(top). Clase Azul Handcrafted Reposado. A review for this would be so interesting

Not every good sipper is the best mixer. Fortaleza is too good and too pricey for mixed drinks. I haven't had the other two. For low price, ADDITIVE FREE, and a good mixers I like Tres Agaves and Arrette blancos.

Watching this while enjoying Fortaleza Blanco. Fortaleza and El Tesoro are my two favorites, and I like Reposado a bit more but go for Blanco at times. I tried El Jimador and I found it to be a really harsh tequila and could not drink it, even tried it as a Paloma and that did not cover up the harsh flavor...

  • @terrycrews1760

El Jimador harsh? Comments like this is what makes it hard to decide whether to try this or not where some people say it’s easy in the palate and works great with margaritas and then I turn around and see opposing comments. As a newbie to the Margarita making scene it gets discouraging and confusing sometimes at not blowing a lot of money or knowing what to get.
