Want to beat the hot summer weather? This drink is for you! The Chartreuse Swizzle is a modern classic cocktail that uses Green Chartreuse as the main ingredient. Swizzles are a type of drink that is usually built straight in the glass and agitated with a swizzle stick or a bar spoon.
Swizzles are essentially a sour punch style of drink that is typically served with crushed ice. Punch tends to be rich in flavors and refreshing. The great thing about these drinks is that you can make this drink your own by swapping some ingredients.

Recipe:
CHARTREUSE SWIZZLE
1.5oz (45ml) Green Chartreuse
1.5oz (45ml) Pineapple Juice
.5oz (15ml) Velvet Falernum
.75oz (22.5ml) Lime Juice
Add all the ingredients into a chilled highball or tall glass. Add crushed ice, about 3/4 of the way. And Swizzle with a swizzle stick or bar spoon. top the drink with more crushed ice. Optionally top with some bitters.
Garnish with mint, Pineapple fronds, and freshly grated nutmeg. Serve with a straw.

Have you tried a Swizzle before? If so which one has been your favorite? For my favorites I'm in between the Queens Park Swizzle and the Chartreuse Swizzle

I have tired both. My favourite is the Improved Chartreuse Swizzle which adds a 1/4 oz of Wray and Nephew White Overproof rum and a healthy amount of nutmeg grated as garnish.

Hello, I was wondering if yo ucan help me, I would like to find a good Cocktail app, won that I can track my bar, save and edit my favorite cocktails. Edit is a big one because some I like my spin. Thanks.

Hi Jarom. The one app I use a lot (and the only one I trust thus far) is Bartender's Choice Vol. 2. You can save favorites, you can't really edit them. However, you can add notes for every single cocktail at the bottom where there is a notes section. Here you can write anything you want, including your variation. It's only $4.99 on the app store. Hope this helps
