Jack Mack Woodturning

Jack Mack Woodturning

Welcome to jack Mack Woodturning

Here you will find my Woodturning and Woodworking videos, its mostly Woodturning.

I like to use unique pieces of wood in combination with epoxy resin to create one off practical art. Where possible I try to avoid epoxy resin and make pieces solely of wood.

My Woodturning mostly consists of open and closed form vessels, such as bowls, vases and hollow forms, although I sometimes make more abstract pieces.

As a full time production woodturner, it’s nice to take a little time out from my repetitive work to give me a chance to put my lathe to more creative uses.

I hope you find my videos enjoyable and entertaining.

Sorry, have to be honest here, I think it is a bit ugly and just looks like plastic. Where does all the waste go? To be fair, it is a matter of perception and personally I much favour natural wood.

Though I really like the project, I would have love the idea of the finished vase Without filling the spaces. I’ve seen some sculptures with this concept of blank spaces between the body or so, so a open vase could have been very nice too.
