@@JackMackWoodturning I am terrific. And yourself?
My daughter (year 5) loved this. Her comments as you were cutting up the rainbow pieces were, "amazing, beautiful, nice choice!" I loved it, too, but I thought you would be happy to hear what she said.

The grain in that hawthorn wood is lovely. And with the resin infusion it reminds me of a plethora of library books filling the empty spaces. This would be one I would love to own. Great work, J.

Though I really like the project, I would have love the idea of the finished vase Without filling the spaces. I’ve seen some sculptures with this concept of blank spaces between the body or so, so a open vase could have been very nice too.

@@JackMackWoodturning none of my work was done on a lathe. I did too many bar tops and coffee tables. The most enjoyable work was making resin picture frames for paintings of all sizes. Floating frames with Lego pieces, puzzle pieces, money, fly fishing gear, empty bullets gun cartridges, little gears & springs from old watch parts. Each one I made was one of a kind. It was just too much work for how little $ I got back. People wanted frames for 20 dollars. It stopped being enjoyable. working for free and too many orders to fill made me stop.
super! Thank you very much! Good luck to you, good luck,👍👍
