  Instead Of using Epoxy the sell a small can of liquid steel, sands hard but just like steel, Not cheap, But for Restores like this works Perfect. ,Don't get me wrong what you did works and It came out Great in the end, Just Trying to help.

  I owned a Collection Of these old kerosene lamps back in the 60's, Railroad lamps, 10 or more .You could fine them everywhere. Now you Hardly see them . I took them Camping all the time, Back in those days life was Great, Now we Live in a Narcissistic world. SO SAD

  Верхняя деталь лампы, которая контактирует со стеклом, очень сильно нагревается во время работы! Её не стоило красить краской и реставрировать шпатлевкой. Краска и шпатлёвка обгорят. По-моему, лучше было бы запять дефекты и покрыть термостойкой краской.

  You are amazing. All the complex pieces and you still manage to put it all together. I didn't think you could save the glass, but 6 hours later, it looks brand new.

  Difficult restoration and the result is nice. I would not replace old screws with new ones. Old ones look better and could be restored too. Just my opinion. Anyway, all together, it is perfect work 🙂👍
