So many videos dont show the "boulder" portion of jordan pond path so thank you for doing that! I hate boudlering of any kind, there are few enough that its a challenge but not too many that its exhausting. Now the eagle lake, (eagle lake lake trail) that cuts close to the water on the backside of the lake was horrendous its almost a mile of car size boulders and i was exhausted on that. I ended up taking a trail back to the carriage road because it was just too much. But still had 2-3 miles on the carriage trail before getting done. I was however completely alone on that bit of trail too.

Ive been On the West coast by the Ocean all week making hiking Videos!😅 i found Deer 🦌
This hike is going to go on my list! curious; what is the frame rate that you exported your video in? It look great!
@tinwenwalks28 күн бұрын
It’s a great one! And totally doable as a moderate or challenging hike depending on what trails you take up and down, nice variety there. Filmed and exported in 4k 👍
@TrailSprite28 күн бұрын
yeah feeling slightly jealous. I have a great editing program I'm using/learning but I can only export in 1080p till I purchase the pro version. I was wondering more about how many frames a second you film in and export.
@tinwenwalks28 күн бұрын
@@TrailSprite I use Final Cut Pro, love it. I do 30fps (sometimes less), export at 4k 3840 x 2160 most times
@TrailSprite28 күн бұрын
That's helpful to know. My last video was filmed in 4k at 30fps also so it must be the 1080p export I'm uploading. My videos are getting progressively better but I guess their going to plateau soon if I don't start exporting them in 4k! Anyway infectious videos looking forward to watching more of them!
@tinwenwalks28 күн бұрын
@@TrailSprite I think if the content is solid and authentic, doesn’t have to be 4k, for what it’s worth ☺️

For those interested in this area I recommend the Boot Head trail, between Quoddy and Cutler. This super mossy trail has a blowhole at the end, a very unique and interesting feature. Very tide dependant though. I'm not exactly sure, but I think it's a couple hours before high tide that it does it's thing. But, there's a lot of newer preserves in this area, I'm sure none will disappoint. The trails at Quoddy Head are also amazing.
@tinwenwalksАй бұрын
One thing I definitely want to do is go back and explore more trails on either side of the preserve. These are great suggestions, thank you so much ☺️
