Re watching this in 2024.. watching all of his vlogs in preparation of this years WSOP!!! but damn seeing his vision board and the knock her up made me sad. Still working on it i hope.
If the top player only gross $5M in 10 years, poker is really bad financially for average people. With the buyin and travel expenses, even the top players are barely breaking even. On the other hand, a new grad software developer at the Silicon Valley makes about $300K a year on the low average. Those, who hit IPOs with 2 or even 3 times in 10 years, would nested $6-10M.
I don't think Adelstein should have 4 bet A7 pre out of position if he was going to check it to the river on boards like these.
Look at the stack sizes. Didn’t really affect him at all. But he got to see how his opponent plays and thinks, and he got to see the cards.

Can someone tell me what running it twice means? Does it mean that if a single was 50k that running it twice means he now ows 100k? I play poker but not at caisnos so please someone tell me lol
If you run it twice,each run is for half the pot, run it 4 times each run is a fourth..

Use a site that can handle the traffic. I, literally, clicked "confirm" 8 seconds after it went live. Failed to complete and then the site logged me out and won't let me back in. Now, all of a sudden, my e-mail is invalid. BS.

I was a little surprised by the fold but you are one of the best players in the world in my opinion so I know there is logic behind it.
In a Bond film, there would be another player with 4-4, another with KQ spades and Bond with the straight flush.
And the dealer would have to pull each hand in one at a time and put it in the board.
@@billybegood466 and for some strange reason, they will do the showdown for the main pot first before the 4 other side pots.

If your value betting range is QTs, T9s, 99, and ATs, then there are 7 possible combos (QsTs, Ts9s, 3 99 combos, AsTs, Ad9d) and you are folding 5 combos, it's a great bluff with 55 (even if that is not what the intention was). From a GTO perspective, you can't fold 99 here if you are value betting ATs. Even if your value bet range is only QTs, T9s, and 99, you have to call with 99 some fraction of the time in a GTO strategy.
