You always share a very intuitive understanding of the theory in the spot. Thanks for the insights.
Its not that DNegs is winning. Its that he's winning, and then telling you about 90% of why he's winning. (Obviously, he's probably keeping 10% of why he's winning to himself... just to keep folks guessing.)
@quokka_11

But then again he might be keeping 15% while giving you the idea that he's only keeping 10%....
niiiiiiice! hope you win it all this year Daniel! (also Amanda says to not give away all your secrets) ;)
D-Negs with more secrets to the game! Love it Mr.Negs keep them comming!!
I ran into your buddy, Allen a few minutes ago, here in Cherokee. I saw Josh yesterday.
WSOP Ontario is Epic . I hope I can make it out . If i do im putting you to the test if we get at the same table lolol cheers buddy
I think flop bet is good and turn bet is good too in such a wide range spot. 2 of hearts is slightly irrelevant because there's not many non-heart combos that continue aside from 3 5's. Great hand!

In terms of blockers yes (though SB should have 32hh and 42hh here I think), in terms of additional equity it is certainly nice to have even though I'm not sure how often the river checks through when a 4th heart comes.
Turn off the lights in the cabinet mate.
Go allin with a 4 outer and bink it on the river, simples
I've seen some tournaments where they end the BB ante at heads up.
Love it, please keep it comin'!!! 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 #dnegforpresident #kidpoker 🐐 🐐 🐐
Those backlights are tha REAL BIG BLIND
Im not super familiar with heads up, but sb vs bb why would Daniel raise K2 off is the first place? He wants to have some degree of polarization with his raises and K2 off seems too close to the middle of his range here. I heard his logic in the beginning it just doesn't seem like the hand to raise.

i think pro players just have a very very mixed strategy when raising HU so its hard to predict them

It’s not about the hand it’s about the position he doesn’t playing his hand he was just playing his position and that was why the opponent fold the way Daniel played like he could have alot of Strong hand like A5 or AK Or A10 Or any hearts card Or even AA U can’t have good hands All time and u can’t just check fold so u have to play on position some times
@kevintwine2315

You have to really mix it up when playing heads up

Any Ace or King heads up is a big favorite against a random hand. After you raise heads up with a hand like K2 off suit or f you face a significant reraise you might consider folding preflop
What would you do if he called on the turn? Would you keep bluffing on the river? Thank you Daniel, you’re very inspiring.

He said he’d prob shut down on the river. It’s in the video
Daniel, a question. You're saying that he doesn't have strong Aces on the flop, because he went call-call pre. But what if he is being tricky? Or what if it's a small stakes game in my local casino? People are doing all kinds of stuff there. You can easily face AJ+ there with the same preflop, even up to AA. How can you be sure that he doesn't have the Ace solely because he chose that line preflop?
@StedStriker

You can't, that's why it's called a range, and this specific instance has almost 0 relevance to your small stakes game, it's heads-up with two extremely studied players

It'd be unlikely; you'd say he could still have all those strong hands, but just not often at all. It's far more likely for him to have a more marginal hand than to slow-play a monster. It's the same theory with blockers, right? Daniel said he blocked AK, KQ and a lot of king combos with K2o, but that doesn't mean Smiljkovic can't have a king. We still account for that, but realise it's not as likely as other hands.

Good question. However the details of this scenario include Daniel’s opponent having a much shorter stack. When playing heads up with the blinds this big winning the blinds alone is extremely important. Any Ace is a monster heads up and therefore worth a raise or even a reraise to Daniel’s preflop raise. This is the reason Daniel realized the Ace high flop “ favored “ his own range against his opponents range. If his opponent had a much bigger stack or the blinds were smaller then being tricky by not raising with an Ace might be a valid option.
Is it time for winners tilt?
Random Question: Has anyone seen the new Poker Stars ad with the guy bragging about Hellmuth blowing up at him? Is that the goal of playing in Poker Stars? It seems like a terrible mindset to have to me.
Wow
Besides from game strategy, Poker it's still a a Game of chances and Luck, I don't understand why so many people are upset about DN winning, he is still a great Player.

Of course luck is a factor but I'm not sure what luck is in this hand I would say this more on the skill end of poker this shows how dn understands and applies theory especially against an aggro player great hand and great win dnegs
😊
Daneil you need a cowboy hat , you would look awesome with it!

Yeah, HELLmuth is great entertainment for us with his meltdowns but Negs is the man for making poker great fun for me. :)
This lighting triggers me and is difficult to watch. I love the content, so honestly that's the only feedback.
Can you make a video with a title GAMBLING My NET WORTH On The Poker Table XD
Is there a fire in your house?
Surprised to not see you talk about how raising K2o sucks if he’s gonna call K6o
Whats with the weird over saturated white angel lighting, are you an insta model and were you wearing eye liner?

A month ago... I lost 2 million playing poker. Wins one tournament..how to win in 2024.. lmao I can tell you what he's not winning at and thats lighting...
Get it in bad and suck out. That's the only winning strategy for 2024
@Csylvia1979

To win a tournament, at some point, you are going to suck out. There is no running true even in small fields. My last win, I doubled with kings through aces. Only had two outs, hit on the turn, it happens. Have to play to have a chance to win.

If you're aware that he lost last year, are you also aware that he's won the great majority of other years? And if you are aware of that, why this comment?
