@@MindStrongSport I mean in the app I can't understand most of words in mindset courses , meditation
@@thehunters2653we will take a look at this 🙏🏼
Professional cycling is one of the most ruthless sports out there.
It is for sure
Maybe a question whether it is a sport or not, but mountaineering (specifically alpinism rather than commercial mountaineering). You are out on your own with at max a handful of others, completely at the mercy of the mountain and the elements, sleeping on a belay ledge on a sheer ice face in the middle of patagonia for days waiting out a blizzard and rationing your minimal food and gas that you need to keep warm. Micro decisions you or your team make are the difference between life and death: what to leave at the final camp for a summit push, whether to risk walking under a serac, whether a rock or snow anchor is secure enough to rapel from... Add to that the effects of altitude (where every step can feel like hell), hypothermia, frost bight, navigational errors, dealing with stuck ropes, random uncontrollable rockfall etc. And at the high level you also have to perform under these conditions with world class technical ice and rock climbing skills.
Great point. Hugely tough sport. Full respect ✊🏼
The justifications you give for cricket while the Tour de France is currently happening is comical 😅
They won’t forgive me. 😅
You also put physical danger as one of criteria and only sport on your list that mach it is combat sport?
No hard feelings though 👋, don't like that someone is talking about sports like he now's definitely all about the different sports whiteout doing them in a high level or knowing how it really feels like
Played professional sport (cricket). Work with professional athletes. Spoken to tons on the podcast. This video was my opinion + my experience, nothing more. I could have listed 10 more sports. Kept it to 5. All a bit of fun here 😊💪
Have you ever went pro in any of these sports, if U haven't, U certainly shouldn't be talking about which is hardest mentally! And you have no ide at all what really is going in a athletes, never what ever the sport ur doing everyone is thinking differently
I was a professional cricketer. 😊🤝
1. Can't believe cycling (especialy grand tours) is not in your top 5! 2. Golf? I would say snooker is way mentaly harder.
I think ultra running should be more ultra endurance. To encompass these sports too, Tour de France is another level.
Crickets lol. I was professional waterpolo player, try that
You have my full respect sir 🫡
Golf easier than skateboarding??
I do both and golf is definitely a little harder. That said, I'm just a seafront cruiser, you aren't going to see me on a halfpipe any day.
Came for meditation. Few objections: 1) I don't think he can just put it that running is just plain 'boring' esp. regarding the challenge side of things. 2) Rather than putting combat sports as 'mentally' challenging I think it's more of a sport that has MORE RISK for HIGH-DEGREES of PHYSICAL TRAUMA. Talk about mental challenge virtually ANYTHING can be outside of sports. Besides I don't like the level of apathy some of those MMA artist exhibit
Running is always boring. Personal opinion (as stated) that it's monotonous, so for some it can be seen as boring. But it's one hell of a challenge! I appreciate your thoughts here. Thanks for taking the time. Great to have you. Lewis 😊💪
not disagreeing with you but in terms of mental toughness I think you should expand the list to include strongman competition, autoracing, and american rodeo.
Wonderful illustration on resilience building through challenge and support matrix, useful for class teaching and psychology training of coaches and athletes. Thanks
Thank you! Great to have you here!
I would say it's more heart-breaking, vs disappointing, that Rory missed those putts. I'm a fan of both him and Bryson, and I love watching history and greatness happen. What was disappointing was Rory just dipping out and not congratulating Bryson, or speaking with media. Don't get me wrong I understand it, I assume he was honestly getting back to work rather than having a temper tantrum, maybe just dipping out was the "edgiest" thing Rory could do to hype himself up for the work he's putting in now lol.
Hard one to know isn't it. Appreciate you sharing your view. 💪
This is pretty cool - I think psychology coaches in sports are the future
Thanks! Hope to see you around here more 😊💪
Bias. European channel
I mean. Maybe. But probably didn’t add that I was happy for Bryson. Think his new persona recently is awesome for golf. Hope it stays. 😊💪
Interesting video! I was heartbroken for Rory. Stayed up and watch him capitulate live. It was brutal. The most I've every related to him though as a golfer xD. I think an interesting video would be how you handle the yips both through training and in a live environment. The amount of times I've hit a bad drive, brushed it off then the next one is the same... it gets to you and then you feel like you can't figure out what you're doing wrong, then your whole game collapses. I think this can apply to most sports as well.
100%. Stay tuned. 💪
@@MindStrongSport nice. I subscribed so looking forward to it. 😂
Let's just ask him...
Would be great if we could. 🙏🏼
May have ???!!??
Exactly. Well can’t be 100% sure. But we can guess.
My dad always told me that a change of mindset can improve my life. Now I get it!! Good to be part of the fam. I'll see if I can download the app on my phone.
Great to have you here! 😊💪 Lewis

Yoo!! This feels really funky! Although may I say a little hard to understand, even at the third or fifth rewatch. This vid is quite old indeed, hopefully I'm able to watch all of your other vids in order to give positive coaching reviews. Catch y'later MindStrong Sport!
Sorry about that 🙁
@@MindStrongSport No bad feelings, besides I've been getting pretty dull at both studying, listening and college. I guess that's why I ended up here! This vid cleared me so many doubts about breathing and excercise either way, thank you MindStrongSport CM, proud to join the fam!

Still coming back to this one because whatever I have in my shoulder is fixed only with these stretches in particular
Be it any sport, it is very important to be mindful while playing the game. This video helps in being aware and mentally prepares you to perform your best.
Great best meditation I’ve come across!
Great video. I think the knowledge here will help me cope with some current problems. Keep up the work, the results will come. Your videos are extraordinary!
Thank you. I appreciate that. Is there anything you’re working on?
In your opinion, who is one of the most resilient athletes?
Love it
Appreciate it! What else would you like to see on the channel? 💪
PUBG Esports Player 😅❤
This one is perfect
Thanks for a great video
Thanks, George!
Yes!
💪
Yes! Love your analysis, Lewis. Found it really insightful. Perhaps for future vids like this...if you could expand the subject screen a bit wider? That'd be cool. Plus, what do you think about the Goalkeeper's composure for every penalty kick?
This is really helpful. Will look at what goalkeepers do in the future. In this scenario, goalkeepers are likely to do their homework, similar to the players, their ability to stick to those plans may largely depend on their ability to manage the pressure.
Yes! Absolutely loved this! Great podcast vibe 👌
Stoked that you enjoyed it! 😊💪
Watched with my 14yo son (football and rugby player) - interesting and useful, thank you.
Thank you Joanna (and son!)

can you put your guided meditations on spotify so I can listen to them in the car on the way to games?
We don't have plans right now to put them on Spotify but they are available on the MindStrong Sport app 😊 onelink.to/mindstrongsport
Can you help me...I believe I could play NBA...but I hate my age! Any advice?
I wish I add an answer other than to accept your age (that won't change)
