  My carbon x 2 does have a anti reverse. If it's a 2000 or bigger. The 1000 doesn't have one. A lot of manufacturers are doing away with it. I use mine , but I could get used to not using it. By just setting the drag to pull line I guess. Some people do back fish to let line out. I sometimes do trout fishing.

  Out of the box none of my penn slammers did this, however after breaking in all of them do it, even the one I bought when the IV first came out. Penn reels are always tight out of the box because they use traditional rubber seals.

  I’m pretty serious about my fishing, I use spincast reels when I can because they don’t make knots and I don’t like paying attention to the reel or fixing bs knots

  Bought a vsx200 brand new. Within 3 weeks it was fully locked up and had to go in for warranty work. They replaced basically everything inside. The next time fishing the bearing in the line roller went bad and had to be replaced.

  I have noticed that the Penn Fierce IX does not have sealed bearings when I see videos that showcase it being taken apart. From the ones you personally have, are they sealed or are they just shielded?

  It looks nice. I know from experience not to buy a American Hero or Smash. They both busted on me. The Smash was new. I did get a Kastking Royale after that and had no problems. Lews higher end stuff is much better than the crap I had.....or so I'm told. The Crush feels solid.

  I really like these swim baits they run straight in the water and they catch fish I like to use them on weedless vmc belly weighted hooks The smaller ones are really good 2 caught my best snakehead of the year on it @27”

  In slot car racing gear mesh is very important. Just the one simple test of you spinning the handles, and seeing the OG Bullet spin longer tells me it’s better. Thanks for the vidjio.

  I think will be a good idea to add some silicone, to create a gasket, so at that way you can make a little bit water proof.

  People a fishing reel any fishing reel is a line control and recovery tool . it's not a winch! You always pump and reel! Catch em if you Can😉

  I just picked up a ZD2 model from Ollie’s (Good Stuff, Cheap!) 😁 None of the packages had price tags so I asked for a price check. It was supposed be $29.99 but he did an override and discounted it to $14.99. If I like it, I can go back and grab another, or two, for the same price.

  Number one reason for me is quality, ive had the zebco reels break on me before and in nasty ways you cant fix. So i just stick to shimano or penn spinning reels, gonna dable in baitcaster reels soon most likely gonna get the shimano DC series.

  Good review. I have four Bullets and one Bullet MG. The oldest two are four years old. One has failed. I mailed it in to Zebco for a repair and they actually sent me a new one. I have three baitcasters that I just cannot get it down. One is a Shimano SLX that is supposed to be practically backlash free. For the time being, Zebco Bullets are all I use on my kayak. Since my wife is fishing more she is about to inherit a Bullet and I am gettng another MG. There is no way I would want to deal with backlash problems on a kayak.

  The spinfisher does have a brass bushing that supports the spool it’s just not in the spool. And the ar clutch switch is only a liability it for the sealing of the real
