A lot of people complained that we are only reporting one sided. To this we can only say that we are reporting on events as information and footage becomes available. We are strictly unpolitical and our official stance is that we are against this war. Belive us all we want to do is going back to upload normal military videos and talk about past conflicts and wars. However this war is happening right now and it is our duty to report about it. This video is most likely from February 24th but was just released by the Russian MoD.

Ex Australian Army soldier here. People who have not experienced war will never understand the true horror of it. WarLeaks and other similar channels do a great job of showing people a glimpse of combat, so we can all understand how terrible war is. Had some conversations about it with some involved people, and been told that female voice in a stress situation is associated with a mother or a beloved wife or even a girlfriend , so a message would get more confidence and call a faster reaction on the one hand and make a pilot more calm on the other

ИЛ-76 с танками, пехотой, бтрами (была инфа о 15-18 шт ИЛов) не смогли сесть - полосы разбили артиллерией и они ушли на Гомель. В итоге подкрепления не дождались изначально. А остатки десантуры первой волны разбили. Потом вечером прилетела ещё украинская десантура и отработала сначала по стоявшим уцелевшим вертолетам, а потом высадились и добили остатки выживших. Это был первый день. Потом уже были колонны с Гомеля, десантура следующих волн. Но первые - погибли. И да как я посмотрю там у вас все по плану. Если по плану было просто ворваться в 4 области, положить основную элиту десантуру а так же десяток тысяч своих военных и потом "уйти". То это какой то е.анутый план. Угробить 10-11 Генералов!, Флагман чф и кууучу техники... За 3 месяца... При этом главное достижение - пуляться ракетами за 500-1000 км по городам. Стереть с лица Марик... Гении. Вы ох.еете когда поймёте как вас на..бывает ваше голословное МО РФ и "СМИ". Хотя вы понимаете. Просто вы рады быть на..баными, так ведь удобно и совесть не мучает. Но эта позиция страуса "вижу только то что удобно" приведёт вас к катастрофе.

Saving Private Ryan opening scene was pretty close to the real deal. My grandfather was at D-day on the British area in tanks. The noise is something he remembered and remarked about just a cacophony of sounds that you'd never experience before it after in life.

The Russian forces were driven out and fled into the he nearby woods. 2 days later after a breakthrough from ivankiv they took hostomel. There definitely is evidence of that. And there is no fucking evidence the russian paratroopers held out.

This, along with the images of MI-8s dodging stinger missiles, will live rent free in my head for the rest of my life. Right up there with watching 9/11 happen as a kid.

0:50 I would like to note that what we see here is definitely an AK-12, and the "Some sort of EOTECH sights" that was mentioned is most likely the 1P87, AKA the PK-120, that is distinguished from the EOTECH Holographic sight by having a slightly curved front, as seen in the video.

The Front Sight Gas Block Combo with a barrel extending slightly past it is the dead giveaway its the AK-12, and you are correct it is the 1P87 although Russian Exporters label them the PK120, and from people I know who own them they are pretty decent optics with a short battery life. Also they are NV Compatible, but I doubt NVG's are in widespread use in the Russian Military outside of Spetsnaz and or Elite Fighting Units, such as the VDV.

@Underpaid T-72 mechanic Russia has always overhyped their ability to outfit their Soldiers, not since the height of the Soviet Union have they been capable of mass producing arms. Also I'm sure some of these soldiers are being given these weapons to field test in combat, kind of how we did Vietnam with the M16.

I advise you to read about (Zmeiniy) Snake Island, which was allegedly bombed by the Russian navy, and about 13 allegedly heroically killed Ukrainian border guards who were buried and awarded posthumously in Ukraine, Zelensky even made an appeal to the nation, this was told on all American and European television channels, but in the end it turned out that they were offered to surrender and they surrendered, they were given a subscription that they would not fight against Russia, fed and sent home. And there were not 13, but 82 border guards, all alive and well. The Ukrainian authorities officially confirmed this, but quickly hushed up the matter. Just as the Russians "bombed" Snake Island, they are "bombing" residential neighborhoods. Don't be so stupid.

@@ecurb10 Russia went in with their hands tied. They thought thought Ukraine would be accepting of them. Then Ukrainian units stood their ground, and their president started giving out weapons to civilians who used it on the Russians while hiding in schools etc. So the Russian army has done a 180 on its previous RoE are are just gunning down anyone they find suspious. They got tired of being ambushed by civilians in civilians buildings and started just blowing things up.

There are reports that Ukrainians shot down 2 IL76's. I read somewhere that one of them was definitely full of Paratroopers. Never have seen images or videos of it though. Maybe after the war there will tons more footage that will be released. Supposedly one of them shot down by an Su-27(I think that's what I read) and never did read anything about how the second one was shot down.

@@Anonymous-qj3sf besides that Russians are not allowed to shoot the combat, but all of us are sure the level of their skills is outstanding.

Something curious is that both Ukrainian and Russian soldiers have high-visibility markings on their uniforms. Yellow bands for Ukraine, and these red stripes and foil reflectors for the Russians. I'm guessing they're more worried about friendly fire than the extra risk of being spotted. Makes me wonder if that's because communications are much harder to keep secure and they have to report their position to their friends less, or if sensory equipment is so good the visual indicators don't matter, if everyone is so poorly trained that they don't have procedures for confirming targets, or if it's something else.

I like how you guys don't ascert that these are necessarily legitimate videos, and qualify it all by saying "we think" or "This is probably...." Like, they probably are accurate, but good to be cautious. Keep up the good work👍

Guys don't accuse Warleaks about being biased, Russian soldiers are not allowed of having gopros on them, and you can be sure Vladimir Putin doesn't want his soldiers to be free of showing everything they want. Still if you want a view of the Russian side, you can go on the channel Wargonzo, it is a reporter of the Pro-Russian Donestk battalion actions in this war. And yes, me too I am against this war. I like both Slavic and Russian culture and I am kinda depressed to hear that slavic people are killing themselves.

Russian politicians need some good picture of russian soldiers in the TV. Thats why you can see gopro on them. They playing "good boys" on camera. Check 3:00 moment. The guy saying "dont touch cars and civilians" like he is playing on camera.

Just one point...the airport was never retaken by the Ukrainians. That was just their media PR.They did launch counter attacks and shelling for 2 days after which the paratroops were relieved by a ground force coming from Belarus
