🔴 Ukraine War - INTENSE Combat Operation Shows Ukrainian Assault To Capture Village Near Kharkiv

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense cleared the release of footage from an entire Ukrainian military combat operation that led to the capture of a village near Kharkiv from Russian troops.
The assault was filmed by a Ukrainian drone and ground troops wearing GoPros on their helmets and bodies.
This is the first time during the war an entire combat operation was documented so extensively from several angles.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense about 70 Russian soldiers were KIA and 27 got captured as POWs by Ukrainian troops.
Ukrainain forces also suffered several KIAs and WIAs during the battle but the exact number was not disclosed.
Due to restrictions we can not share the capturing of the POWs nor the treatment of a Ukrainian WIA. We hope you understand this.
Also a number of Russian vehicles were abandoned and captured by Ukrainian forces.
Ukrainian soldiers claim that a Russian Orion drone was present during the battle and circled above the area.
Based on the vehicles it seems the Ukrainians who assaulted the village were part of a volunteer militia such as AZOV but it has to be pointed out that they had relatively advanced gear with them.
A number of AK12 assault rifles with aimpoints and other sights could be seen for example.

The feeling is that this Ukrainian unit is well trained, tactically flexible and effective. Town battles are the most complex and dangerous of all types of combat, requiring very good coordination and synergy of forces, appropriate weaponry, good and uninterrupted means of communication, etc. ...... Most importantly, the use of drones changed the battlefield dynamics! And the Ukrainian troops used armored units correctly, the combat vehicles suppressed the enemy with heavy firepower while the infantry protected the armored units from enemy units, which was done beautifully than the Russians 👍

Russian troops are not hiding behind their own residents. they don't fire because of their backs. They do not put armored vehicles to residential buildings, so that the Russians, in order to avoid casualties, would not hit with a rocket. They do not shoot at the backs of civilians trying to escape and get out of populated areas. Otherwise, the Russian troops would have leveled everything to the ground long ago. Just like everyone's beloved United States in Yugoslavia!!! Has everyone forgotten about it??? 1.5 months of bombardments!!!! Schools, houses. kindergartens, hospitals!!! You're all two-faced creatures. that they don 't notice the hell that you create yourself !!! And Russia has always been a liberator. As in 1945

@@faiver8363 The Russians bombed Ukrainian cities, large and small, into rubble and killed countless Ukrainian women, children and elderly in hospitals, apartment buildings, shopping centers and on the way to escape! Countless Ukrainians lost their homes and were displaced and suffered! Russian troops are still besieging and bombing places like Mariupol day and night, preventing people from even collecting their bodies! But the courage, solidarity and performance of Ukrainians on the battlefield surprised the world: Russian soldiers and generals were killed in large numbers! Tanks and airplanes were turned into smoldering wrecks on Ukrainian soil! The Russians met with a resistance and world isolation they never dreamed of! And then you blame your fiasco on the Ukrainian soldiers hiding behind civilians!

That's likely. Ukraine is huge country so the front is really long, even longer than the Operation Barbarossa one, but the Germans had over 3 million men going in, the Russians only have at most 200,000. That's a tiny force for such a long front line.

Either that or they can't maintain that kind of air time for their fleet. It would be consistent with the reports that the Russian forces are lacking maintenance capacity and replacement parts for their vehicles including aircraft. Keeping a constant air support force would be very expensive so maybe Russia can't do it?

With how much footage of this war that’s already being released on a daily basis, it’s practically already the most documented war in history. And what’s really mindblowing is to think of how much more footage out there is being held onto by Russian, Ukrainian, or others for security reasons that we aren’t going to see until probably years down the line. Stuff that might even be more insane than what we’ve already seen. All I can hope for is that the mass amount of footage that comes out of this can be used to educate people, protect troops, protect civilians, and to show us all firsthand just how much a war can truly cost us so that we can hopefully prevent another mess like this from happening again.

Why would a DJI drone be considered a worse option then a military drone. it seeems they are cheaper and situationally more efficient then a military counterpart and also readily availble. Sure they don't have any defence against electronic jammers or have infrared or night vision, but for quick skirmish during the day they work better then one would expect.

Unreal, we have seen similar videos in the middle east such as when the Houthi rebels make attacks with go-pros and drones, and after someone edits them all together into 1 clip. We have never seen this in Europe with 2 conventional forces like this. It's insane and as the text at the end said, Im sure after the war a lot more footage will become available.
