the video doesnt do justice of how insanely loud it is to stand by one of those when they fire, you feel it in your chest its so damn loud.

You sort of get the feeling that there's nothing happening here really. The body language of the Russians suggests that it's relatively safe where they are and there doesn't seem to be any incoming fire at all.

I have read many books written by tank commanders shortly after WW2, they often told of forcing army foot soldiers off and away from the tanks and scout tanks because the tanks draw large amounts enemy fire, and they were often killed and wounded just by being too close to tanks. The German officers were known for their journal keeping which enabled so many of them writing accurate accounts of battles through years of war. Some so much so it gets kind of boring listings all the data in their writing.

Well, this can indeed be grandma of one of the separatists. They are on their own land. The footage was taken in Rubezhnoye, from where many of the LNR fighters are from.

This appears completely staged: The lack of any visible resistance, the exposed positions of the Russians, the camera filming a few feet away from a prime target, the thumbs up and smiles, and of course the old woman whose conveniently left in the village and walking out onto and open battlefield. Pure propaganda

@@Temislaw Well I do and the poster is correct, there is no return fire at all. Also IFVs are a fire support platform whose purpose is suppression whilst your infantry closes in and kills the enemy. This to a trained eye looks like what it is, propaganda.

If you don't understand how the city is being cleaned up, then you shouldn't voice it at all.

The main gun on that btr82 is a scary beast some rate of fire for a larger calibre round, not much hard cover could take the beating that thing is handling out

1:39 would hate to be on the other side of those rounds, the sound of the weapon firing is scary yet has a interesting sound to its shooting

Its pretty fun to be inside of a similar vehicle when its shooting :D I was trained with the cv-90 and i can say i enjoyed :D But on the other hand, if a war broke out, i would not want to go in that thing EVER, its a damn coffin same as the BTR/BMP's that are getting shit on by javelins and such :P But the riding in it and shooting part is fun while not in danger, also i loved to sleep in it when we were doing a motor march hahah :D

The usual showmanship and propaganda. If it weren't for their criminal assault, you wouldn't have to worry about shooting a civilian at all.

As a former German soldier (2008-2021) I'll give you my personal thoughts and conclusions about this footage. Which means it is open for debate whether I'm correct or not. My personal thoughts regarding this footage: These guys make the impression that they don't really have a clue what their current objective is. Movement looks uncoordinated. The APC is hammering the building where the crew suspects enemy positions just to stand out in the open afterwards. Furthermore you can see some of the soldiers casually walking not taking cover (which is even more vital in urban combat). My conclusion regarding this footage: This looks like it may have been recorded after a real firefight in conquered territory (meaning it's staged for the Russian media). This is not a new thing. The Germans and the British did this back in WW I and WW II. A civilian might not be able to spot certain details. Anyway these are just my thoughts based on what I saw.

I think you're absolutely right. The theory of staged scenes is further reinforced by other videos uploaded by Chechens in Mariupol. Shooting some buildings without receiving any counterfire and many members of the unit casually standing around.

The Ukrainian nationalist invaders mercilessly kill everyone they think had any sympathies for the so-called "enemy", hopefully she just stayed in Mariupol and lives a calm, happy life there now that the city is being restored from the fighting and the Ukrainian nationalists (that never had anything to do with it in the first place) have finally been thrown out.

Just saw another documentry where an older lady was crying over her dad husband after he got shot while opening a window and suddenly it went bang-bang-bang, just like the sound of this BTR firing in the dust ot no target. Visibility is zero and gun is leveled up to shoot as far as possible. Also there is no fireing back - those fighters are so brave. Most probably the RT-Producer has asked for the szene.

In KZread most video was filtered out by nato ..and they only show bad side of Russian soldiers..you need go to Belarus,Armenia Azerbaijan mediastream which is not control by the government pro or under nato ..over there thousands Ukraine war video was published daily..I can say most of the video is about chechen and Russia soldiers helping Ukrainian out of building..azoq they take over residential place and forced residents to stay in the building..and hold it for fortress this is why the war hard to win because azoq they use Ukrainian as human sheild.. zelensky is really a bad guy ..he even shut down 3 station tv in Ukraine just for reporting what really happened over there..

These fighters have been fighting for 8 years. They don't want to die, but they have long been accustomed to the idea that they can die at any second. These fighters ask local residents in which houses there are military and peaceful people. These fighters always have a choice: to risk their lives a lot or methodically shoot the building. The Ukrainian military usually occupy the first, fourth and fifth floors in buildings, while civilians may be on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Are there any civilian casualties? Of course there is, there is no doubt about it. But to avoid this, maybe it was worth not to arrange coups in 2014, and if so, then hold referendums on the status of the Russian language? Maybe it would be worth considering the desire of residents of the whole country before making decisions? Politicians unleash wars with their decisions, ordinary people suffer in them. Everything is as usual.

Look at all that damage. Soldiers are shooting at anybody who is moving or sticking thiere haed up on the other side to defend thiere position where they are. As a defender you do not take hostage, you are defending someones home. As an invader you bring death and destruction to people.

Let the people in each area decide for themselves whether they need it or not. Where it is not necessary, it will be canceled, where it is necessary, it will be left. Snipers or reconnaissance groups are sitting in many buildings. We have to work on the supposed points of the enemy in order not to lose personnel. The Americans, by the way, level cities with bombs for this.

Russia will have to leave Ukraine and pay for the damage caused. It`s so tragic that Putin has caused an unimaginable damage to Russia, has reinforced the need of defense architecture of Europe in cooperation with NATO, has damaged the Russian economy like no one before him and yet he still enjoys support. Russians need a wake up call, it looks like they have nothing more to offer to the world than raw materials and threats with nuclear war. Such a waste of great human and resource potential. This is what happens when you are completely consumed by the paranoid doctrine that everyone`s goal is to work against you while the globalized world has changed in the meantime.

Unfortunately, Europe considers us fools because we support what is happening in Ukraine. In fact, we just know what atrocities have been going on in the Donbas since 2014. There are a lot of refugees from there all over Russia who told horrors that you can't imagine. And many more have relatives there.

Reading the comments, I laugh at how stupid the English-speaking people think we are) we are not so stupid to make such clumsy post-shooting videos) the APC does not shoot at the target, but at the house in which a sniper or an enemy group can presumably sit, which may accidentally remain in the rear during the offensive, because in a city battle they constantly fire from the rear. It is, now its more like a counter terror/swat operation team in mariupol They fight door to. Door, building to building. The azov keep fighting but they are keep pushed back due to non existent logistic supply anymore. Its just a matter of time before the city completely fallen.

@@MrJC1 The difference is that the Russians bombed the shit out of the city first, completely indiscriminately, which is a war crime, and only then started going in and fighting on the streets. By saying "destroyed by the fighting" it kind of - in my view - takes away from and diminishes the extent of the outrageous actions of the Russian military.
