Yes? Though not blindly. What makes America great is the ideals we strive towards. It is an imperfect system, administrated by imperfect people, but we're blessed by perfect ideals sourced from our founding. For much of our history we've worked hard to deny the truth that all men are created equal and are endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights. And yet.... we manage to find some way not to fuck it up at the end of the day.

I used to. I used to be a conservative, America right or wrong. Then I got out from under my dad's wing, and saw how hard people in different circumstances had it. I saw how deeply entangled we are as a society with corporate interests. We're so terrified of tyranny from our government, we have sold our freedom to big business. Every facet of the Republican platform is designed to infringe the advancement of anyone who isn't rich or Christian. How any effort to improve our country (like the Equal Rights Amendment) is met with derision and accused of treason for daring to suggest our country isn't perfect. We're not the greatest country in the world. There shouldn't be such a thing.

Based on statistics, unemployment was going down and prospects were becoming brighter economically for the country under the Obama administration. The platform was set for trump to reap and boast the benefits of a thriving economy. Trump only smoothed over what was already set in place by Obama. Any well thinking and unbiased person can see this.
