I was almost getting convinced to spend the $$$ on a Tilley. However, it looks like most are now made in China. If I'm not going to support Canadian manufacturing, I may as well spend Seems like the only Tilley hats still made in Canada are the original ones with the smaller brims.

I am 1m65, I am wondering which sun hat is good for me, can you give me some advice, please? Have you review Tilley Hiker hat T4 MO yet?

Got the LTM5 because it was a bit smaller but still excellent coverage. You can still sweat in this a little bit but it's still worth it. Chin strap and back laces work well together.

Great choice! The LTM5 is a great everyday hat.

The LTM series is now made in China to keep the costs down and keep competitive with all the copies. Its still great quality, with a warranty and the price has come down by about $ 40 a hat. Only certain styles are made in China and the price reflects this. The production is still very good and at the time of filming ( Coivid 19 shop was closed ) production was still made in China. As of 2021 this changed. Many Thanks - Hats

What does LTM stand for?

I just bought the LTM5 and it says it's made in Canada. Sweat beads on top of my head, even when just relaxing with this hat, unlike my cotton look alike hat.

I thought the made in China Tilley hats were NOT guaranteed for life? Tilley's warranty on its web site is unclear. It says that only hats that explicitly claim lifetime warranties have one. I'm just going to go with one of the other hat makers which have lifetime warranty on any hat they sell.

I bought the LTM6 for golfing, fishing and hiking. I can't afford to buy the cheaper hats because they always need to be replaced. The Tilley hat looks good after 2 years and keeps it's shape. The others become floppy and goofy looking after they are wet and weathered

More than likely built up moisture predominately sweat, they advise regular washing

I have the LTM6 and I'm sad to report that they are now CHINESE made.

My first Tilley was made in Canada but I bought a couple more in 2021 that are made in China, there was a 30% price difference though.

Please stop saying Canadian made. You know it's not

Should replace for free. Paying 99. Bucks for a hat made in china is bull shit.
