I mean, people have been learning how to wavedash on controllers since the beginning. Since at least King or the Mishimas got their wavedashes. IDK which exact game that was since I'm not super knowledgeable about the franchise, but controller use to play is the absolute highest among Tekken players in the entire FGC.

I suspect that they intentionally used stuff like Just Dance and Life is Strange to pad out time between the bigger announcements cause they know streamers and stuff would be freaking out and end up talking over them.

I love how everyone seems to be going, "Yo Let's Go Kazuya!!!" And then immediately getting deflated by life is strange.

The best thing about smash is that it doesn’t matter who gets announced, the character is always awesome. While I was happy that Kazuya got announced instead of Heihachi or Jin, a big part of me was disappointed by the fact that it wasn’t the Doom Slayer or some other character I care more about. But I just got Kazuya and I’m having an absolute blast playing as him. At the end of the day I just want fun characters that have a fun moveset/play style

They have max every character in smash. Terry, Sepiroth and Kazuya
