Juiced Up - The Consequences of Steroids: SWOLE Ep. 3

Спорт

Over the better part of this century, bodybuilders have increased the natural performance of their bodies by using artificial substances. In episode 3 of Swole, we talk to a medical expert about the consequences from the use of anabolic steroids while following the daily routine of Mike Bolkovic, a bodybuilder who’s been injecting testosterone for the past eight years. Mike shares with us how the drug impacted his lifestyle and personal relationships.

Steroids might take you to the "next level," but even the most ardent users recognize there are often debilitating side-effects. Watch the entire SWOLE series here: bit.ly/2sDHwvB

Black KNight is misleading a bunch of people, because he is saying the shutoff is permanent however endocrinologists etc have known ways using amino acid chains ( peptides ) to maintain the system... If you are serious about steroids and human growth hormone you go to an endocrinologist... You don't listen to Bro Science on youtube... There are plenty of people who are on Anabolics and HGH under doctor supervision and won't have any negative side effects... Almost everyone I know who is rich is on some Hormone replacement therapy that is over the age of 50... Most of these guys who have the money go on some Hormone therapy around 40~.. If you are interested in pain killers for Chronic Pain you don't go talk to a Heroin Junkie, LOL! Similarly, if I want Cuban Cigars I don't order them from China LOL! Literally, you can go to the doctor and have a whole freaken stack made out for you customized... You got the money, they got the Juice! The people taking advantage are the Rich, the rest of you poor slobs gotta inject stuff from China, and no doctor supervision... This is what Prohibition gets us.... There is nothing wrong with a 40 year old man getting his hormone levels back to when he was 26 under doctor supervision...

A lot of this info is extremely misleading. I love Vice News because they actually have balls but this series on bodybuilding has been really, really bad. I was hoping they would cover this after seeing the first two but now I wish they hadn't. 2-7,000 a month on gear? And he says 2-5,000 is easy to spend? I would like him to math that out for me. Looked like he had about 400 bucks of empties from over the past year. He's not even using human grade gear or HGH. A vial of underground testosterone costs $30-40 if you aren't getting ripped off. A kit of Meditrope, an excellent generic HGH cost 150-250 depending on your circumstances. A kit of Serostim Human Grade HGH costs 750-800 a kit. Saizen (probably the best HGH) is $1,000 a month for a decent dose. If you're doing it right you should actually be using a low dose of testosterone. His high test use is why he experienced so many sides. Also if he's been bodybuilding for 14 years where are the competition photos? He basically just spewed a bunch of used up Rich Piana catch phrases (while dressed head to toe in his merchandise) and gave a bunch of bad "bro" info. He's a poser. A gym rat posing as a real bodybuilder. I may sound like I'm on my high horse about this and it's because I am. I'm literally filming an in depth series with a film crew about this exact topic. We literally had our first filming day last Sunday.

Taking gear is like becoming superman for 12 weeks. You can workout twice a day, your diet and sex drive is insane, you almost don't get sore, your pumps feel like your body is exploding out of your skin, and if you're dedicated you see results. It's insanely addicting. It depends on the response of the person taking it. Will they show the discipline to lower dosages and or cycle off and go back to baseline, or will they let themselves be controlled.

At no point do you ever hear the interviewer ask their questions or what they might have been, and what we get are genuine responses from a guy who is in that and doing that. My guy is living that life that people want to understand. Really great journalism, they let the subject talk and the visuals aid a story that's warranted and not forced byn third party.

@@jimmybaldwin737 Absolutely not true. Microdosing steroids will cause your T production to shut down just like taking larger doses will. The T levels will then need at least 3-6 months to recover after your mini-cycle so you'll essentially be losing muscle or not gaining anything and you'll also fuck up your cholesterol. You're better off cycling like a normal person. The side effects wont even be that severe as long as you stay under 600 mg a week and avoid cycling for more than 12 wks. Or better yet, just stay natty.

Instead of fast food, having to take hours prepping. Putting ur body through pain, AND still having to go to work. People make excuses not to do these things. Or if they don’t see results in a week, they quit. It takes a lot of dedication, most Americans don’t have it.

Insulin is probably the single most dangerous thing they use..also oral compounds like anadrol, and dbol are extremely liver toxic..but in reality injectable test by itself is pretty safe. Ah bah humbug. Sly Stallone is living proof that roid users can live long. Other young guys can follow Sly's footsteps: Rambo on roids in a BLACK LEATHER JACKET smoking a joint occasionally! Even a wrestler by the name of Hogan does it, too! Hogan wears BLACK LEATHERS to ride a hog. He was on roids and smoke an occasional joint every now and then. Just like Sly's Rambo character. Don't they wanna be like Sly? Or they could follow NWO Hogan's career path? I read some online stats. Did u guys know there are 10 million BLACK LEATHER CLADDED DUDES around the world who are on roids? And it's increasing!

As a person who has experienced heroin addiction I must say this breaks my heart.. it’s so similar but so different. He injects drugs to feel good about himself. I can relate 100%

Addiction is addiction. Obviously there is a spectrum with dangerous drugs like alcohol, meth, and opioids and stuff like weed, porn, etc, but at the end of the day, it is all the same.
