Certainly there's a part of him that's humble. Lee Priest made some comments a while back sort of roasting Greg for being a nobody in the sport, and when you watched Greg's response video Greg stated some interesting facts about himself and then went on to really compliment Lee's physique and career as if they were light years ahead of his own. It was a rare combination of sticking up for yourself + realism. He wasn't butt hurt at all.

What a calm, composed, and intelligent person. I wonder if he has a KZread channel and what he’s like on there? In all seriousness, fantastic documentary. It really shows how much love and respect Greg has for the sport of bodybuilding and weightlifting.

I'm 62 and still bodybuild. I've been at it for decades and have had a couple of injuries requiring surgery along the way. I still love it and won't quit until my body won't allow me to do it any more. I'm definitely slowing down at this age and just don't recover as well. I still do 2 days on and one day off.

He also has a crazy amount of clients while charging crazy amounts for coaching, its like 36k or something for a year of coaching and its 500 for like a 30 minute phone call with him. I feel like seeing Greg here in this video, we get to really see his more serious, kind, and passionate self. It’s weird but also very reassuring to see that behind his yelling and jokey personality on his channel, there is a humble and honest guy just trying to help everyone else look and feel better.
