Certainly there's a part of him that's humble. Lee Priest made some comments a while back sort of roasting Greg for being a nobody in the sport, and when you watched Greg's response video Greg stated some interesting facts about himself and then went on to really compliment Lee's physique and career as if they were light years ahead of his own. It was a rare combination of sticking up for yourself + realism. He wasn't butt hurt at all.

I'm 62 and still bodybuild. I've been at it for decades and have had a couple of injuries requiring surgery along the way. I still love it and won't quit until my body won't allow me to do it any more. I'm definitely slowing down at this age and just don't recover as well. I still do 2 days on and one day off.

What's funny is that I've never been interested in body building, just fitness and in general strength. I'm still a fan of coach Greg. His anabolic foods are killer and his yelling is addictive. I'm gonna buy his cookbook now just because he keeps yelling at me to try all his delicious recipes, and he's not joking either. Who would be upset over a diet of anabolic French Toast and Smart Pop popcorn?

This guy went harder than last time! And it payed off. 💜 On a serious note, was heartwarming to see this side of him and cool seeing Ally make an appearance 😂💜

I feel like seeing Greg here in this video, we get to really see his more serious, kind, and passionate self. It’s weird but also very reassuring to see that behind his yelling and jokey personality on his channel, there is a humble and honest guy just trying to help everyone else look and feel better.
