Rich Piana Talks Death & Steroids | Iron Cinema

Спорт

IRON CINEMA - Every Monday we connect you with Generation Iron director Vlad Yudin. Get a first hand look at the entire journey of the bodybuilding industry - ranging from athlete interviews, behind-the-scene looks at major events, and insight into the Generation Iron Fitness Network‘s original shows and films.
When I started digging deep into the current state of bodybuilding to embark on Generation Iron 2 - I knew we had to dive deeper into steroids. Regardless of your opinion on these drugs - steroids exist in every sport and surely bodybuilding is one of them. Who better to talk bluntly about personal experiences with steroids other than Rich Piana - a KZread famous bodybuilder who always speaks his mind. Unfortunately, we couldn't fit our entire converstation with Rich Piana into the film - that's why I'm excited to release this segment of my interview with him where we really dive deep into his personal experience with steroid use and the potential life and death circumstances in the long term. Watch our interview above.
Bodybuilding, fitness, weight training - all on the Generation Iron Fitness Network!

The “bill” means you can’t use steroids without consequences. If you use steroids long term there is a very good chance you will die and an almost certain chance that you will get very sick and destroy your body if you live. A personal friend of mine just died three weeks ago from a heart attack at 43 years old from steroid abuse.

Your physique, your social media status, your relationship and working status, its all about titles. Wasting all that time forging your image means there is no time for you to be a better version of yourself spiritually. Your life becomes your prison and you don't realise it until it's too late.

At least steroids is to benefit your love of exercise and bodybuilding rather than being a fat out of shape loser like most people who die from heart disease, diabetes and health issues related to weight. The dude was wrong in saying let it be legal in professional sports but not wrong in acknowledging the effects both negative and positive. Also he couldn't quit using at this stage. He would lose his brands, sponsors, company, lifestyle, image, and most importantly his health cause he would have zero testosterone his he didn't take steroids. Steroids is healthy for men in their 40's and 50's who's bodies don't naturally produce those hormones anymore, and can keep them sexually active, healthier, stronger, and better looking. @@anonypersona3189 This has been largely debunked by science. Eggs are high in dietary cholesterol, which is essential for testosterone production, but do not have significant impact on blood cholesterol levels in the body. The significant increase in HDL (good) cholesterol from eating eggs may bring marginal increases in LDL (bad) cholesterol -- but a healthy male who exercises and eats a healthy diet is already at much lower risk for heart disease, so the slight increase in LDL is not impactful enough to limit egg consumption. The current scientific consensus is that up to 3 eggs can be safely eaten per day. A lot of the bad cholesterol from egg consumption is from people frying them in butter or eating them with bacon. Which is delicious and also good for testosterone in small amounts.

Young guys don't listen, when I trained in Gold's in the early. 70's, Dianabol was readily available, I took it as prescribed, however my training partner took far more,. 2 years later he went back home to London where he lived, competed on the professional level with great success, subsequently developed serious kidney and liver problems and died in his 40's. Young men are easily influenced, older guys like me telling them to stay away from the stuff unfortunately goes in one ear and out the other. Total respect to all the old timers who pass along factual information. You did your best, Rest in Peace Rich

derSpuk And Rich would probably agree with your assessment. He wanted to leave humanity behind, that was his dream, to ascend his body beyond the level of the regular human, and he wanted those of us lesser than him to... not exactly look up to him as a goal, but to aspire to be greater versions of ourselves. Like he said in the video, his buddy's dream was to be on that stage, it didn't matter if he was first or last. Just being there was enough for him to die happy, and the same could be said for Rich. If your own death is the price for a dream, so be it. You need to do what you feel makes your life complete. You don't let someone else dictate that for you.

I lifted weights on and off since the age of 14. I tried all kinds of supplements for bodybuilding for years and didn't see much of a difference. I considered taking steroids now and then but my needle phobia kept me from doing so. Now i'm 46 and from all the people who died from steroids or who lost all their gains once they got off of them i can say i'm glad i never took them.

odudi Run some test e as trt 250mg aa week. At your age, your test is low. As long you don't abuse steroids, than it's pretty much safe.

And because of the intramuscular nature of steroid abuse its Foriegn Oil from a plant injected daily into your body with fake chemical T basically the heart has to pump it and eventually gets clogged or swollen from it and cant move right and keep rhythm that or liver kidney pancreas function also go a bit haywire. It's pretty wild ride n after you feel like poo for 3 times longer than you felt good for so for each month of good feeling 3 bad at least if not like 6 months bad for every 1 good month so you basically have to stay on them till you die or feel like shit so bad you stop.

I suspect he might have been talking about Don Youngblood, who passed away in 2005 after getting dead last in the Mr. Olympia competition. Of course Rich was obviously in the same boat himself: addicted to steroids and stimulants and unable to give it up. Dallas McCarver was actually an elite bodybuilder. He won three pro shows and never got last place at the O.
