Hey no problem! Thats what I like to do, make it aimed at all levels, whether new to the faction or seasoned veterans who might not have thought of something or wanted a second opinion on how things work.

TS were my 8th Ed army as well. Having washed my hands of 7th when it was all about invisible Aeldari on jetbikes I took time out from playing! Glad you like the video series and it’s proving helpful👍

I think putting the Flamer Stave on a Rubric Marine squad is really good as well!

I think its the best home for one to max out the surprise volume of hits from even just a 5 man unit effectively 5D6 hits is an average of 17. Ill be doing some math-hammer in the next few videos :)

As a new Thousand Sons player your videos are great for learning. You channel is very much like The Red Path, but for Thousand Sons. Keep up the great work!

Awww yeah! Took a few days to make tbh. Creating all those screen shots takes a while! Then I find that there are spelling mistakes and have to remake them all :P

Really good break down - agree on your top 3, Coniving plate on DP would possibly be next - but I find I do not take DP much. Althought I do like taking the incandaeum, it has helped me in a few battles too - had it on Rubic warp flame squad, really does add to the effectiveness of them, especially if combined with Cult of Duplicity or Umbralefic Crustal. Also tried on large Scarab squad, not as useful but did come into play for removing a couple of models in overwatch that turned a melee my way. Really enjoying this series, keep up the great work.

I'd suggest the same thing here, DP's are slightly out of favour, especially the dual talons version in favour of the sword now. But taking Aspiring Magister and putting Incandeum on the Flamer Rubric Aspiring Sorcerer for added hot sauce :) Whether Dupe moved, Crystal moved or arrive via Termite can really put out some nastiness in the back lines.

Fantastic little relics, lots of them are really good. Better than what I expected.

Agreed, there are some tough choices in here which is never a bad thing and can make for more varied lists

Thryddergyre (sounds vaguely Welsh, doesn't it?) seems like a good secondary relic on a Dilettante Exalted. It will allow him to fall back and still cast, meaning you can give him a khopesh and heroically intervene against anyone beating up your poor Rubrics and still fall back and cast later, or advance, charge and steal an objective in the final turns.

There are so many cool options rather than one obvious choice now and that is something I really like to have in a codex. Having a tough choice to pick and then utilise in a game makes for a nice challenge. A thinking persons army this edition for sure

I've been running daemon prince with undying form and conniving plate. Makes him very very tough. I then have a dilennte exalted with the thyrdrgeerereere and hourglass of manat so he's also unkillable. They are then good targets for to the last along with a 10 man term squad. Tempted to also add in the crystal with my sorc in term armour to teleport up the field with the termies to hold the middle and start doing ritual (loyal thrall)

You can certainly power up a DP this way for sure. Still not 100% convinced a DP will feature heavily with the go to being Ahriman, Infernal and one Exalted for your Battalion HQ's and then a Thrall for secondaries supported by the 10 brick of SOT. So many options!

3+ to Pact, or auto pass for the sake of 1 MW off a nearby Terminator with Rites of Coalescence to heal right back up :P I do want to use my Princes in games though, I hate the old model but like my paint schemes! Although 2 with Talons and. with an Axe, yet the Sword seems to be the go to option is annoying!

arcane focus + ARROGANCE OF AEONS

WARPWEAVE MANTLE +ATHENAEAN SCROLLS (smite or hard spell)+immaterial echo+ infernal master use strategem maligant pact and you can heal character and save +1 with psy tests

Dude, you have a real nasty combo imagination...i love it :)

I'm planning on upgrading a sorcerer in terminator armor with battle psyker (2+ bs and ws +1 attack) and give him the staff abominus. Since he doesn't have a buffing aura, just deep strike him wherever needed and save a cp for failed charge re rolls.

A couple of people have suggested this combo, either normal or terminator taking the Battle Psyker upgrade. Putting him in deep strike will deduct Cabal Points for 1 turn of course as he won't be on the board but could prove a nice choppy option to back up some Rubrics

So many options for Swelled! Usually would go on a Prince, but many players opting for an Ahriman, Exalted/Infernal HQ option in a single detachment, then 1 Thrall. So someone else needs to be swollen. Its a real hidden beefcake that can certainly take people by surprise :P

@@OldAverageBritGaming not stick, sword, that relic have -4 AP and D3 dmg , lvl up force sword sorcerer and haved S6 A5 -4AP D3 dmg WS/BS 2+ with Battla-psykar and you can take him any WARLORD TRAIT with close combat
