I do think he is 'hiding shame' somewhat. However, the thrill of the lying game for him totally overrides any shame he may have. I also feel he believes he has achieved and accomplished more in life by lying than he would have by being a decent and honest citizen. For him, crime does pay!

I love it when you show the clip as you are describing it, it makes it much more easy to see what you are describing, and if I see it enough times like that I will have some really great knowledge!😊

*_Never_* show a con man sympathy/compassion. They _will_ see it as weakness, and they _will_ use it against you. Whenever a con man comes your way, the best thing to do is say "hello, how's the weather, have a nice day, bye." Give them _nothing_ to work with.

As George was being lead out of the building, the locksmith was changing the lock on his office door. That was very satisfying to watch. Now let's see what his next con he attempts. I'm sure Trump would welcome him in.

Santos' ability to appear on air after being outed for blatant lying is a special type of brazen. I found myself watching Piers Morgan instead of Santos. I forgot the exact comment Santos made, but when Piers' chin jutted out, I thought, "Here we go!"

If I were questioning him about the Horace Mann School, I’d ask questions about his favorite teacher, classmates, etc.

If this were a private interview, that would be brilliant, and I'd love to see how he'd handle it, haha. But ironically, I could see this making the most honest people look dishonest, because many would not want to answer such questions because it could feel like a violation of their privacy. Bringing them into the story publicly could be an invitation for journalists and investigators to track them down to get more info and verification, could lead to them getting doxxed, etc

To think he got upset for being called a bad liar, not that lying was a bad thing in and by itself.

Yes. MANY people have become shameless since 2016 when being a deplorable person became acceptable among a large group of mostly uneducated Americans.

I agree with Scott. He’s loving this game and all the lies as well as the attention of being seen by everyone and getting supply. Even if it’s negative. The worse thing for Santos is to become totally irrelevant, which will happen when we get bored with him.

I looked at older pictures of Gorgie Pork Pie and he's definitely had his lips plumped up. I agree with others here - he has that psychopath (confidence man) vibe.

Finally, only half an hour, a pleasure to watch and actually process the information! 2 hours is too long, 10 hours is just crazy. Thank you!

No mystery about it: the actual news reports how he got there: by LYING about EVERYTHING about himself, and REPUBLICAN voters who'll swallow ANY lie as measure of loyalty NOT to country but to PARTY.

His language use is strange. As if he uses "big" words to impress you and make himself appear smarter and more educated, but does not quite know the proper usage.
