The New York Attorney General’s office has released video of former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo’s testimony from the independent investigation into harassment allegations against his brother, former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo. The nearly six hours’ worth of video is footage from Cuomo’s previously unsealed deposition. The videos are part of what the New York attorney general’s office calls a “final set” of videos, transcripts and exhibits made public as part of New York state law. Evidence started to be released following the filing of a criminal complaint against the governor in late October.
The Behavior Panel is a group made up of the world's top body language and behavior experts, Scott Rouse, Mark Bowden, Chase Hughes and Greg Hartley. Together they analyze the body language and behavior displayed in videos in the public interest. The Behavior Panel is a non-partisan group, looking to educate and entertain the public with their interest and expertise in nonverbal communication, body language, deception detection, interrogation, and resistance to interrogation. By looking at the gestures, facial expressions, micro-expressions, and context around what people say, this group of nonverbal behavior experts reveals the possible truth and deceptions. This behavior profiler group takes on the task of investigating the behavior behind the crime news that often forces us to think and feel the way we do. The Behavior Panel are featured on The Dr. Phil Show.

As someone who spent the first 50 years of my life in New York, the Cuomos are ubiquitous. Their father, Mario, was Governor for many years and then his son, Andrew, was Governor for many years himself until recently. And his idiot younger brother, notorious for his drinking and carousing in the Hamptons, who is being deposed here, on CNN everywhere you turn spouting his BS. Good riddance to all of them.

Remember this is guy who said he got C - had to quarantine in his home basement for 2 weeks. But caught not in home - at another home, got aggressive with a passerby who recognized him and called him out for it. THEN later did a shoot of him 'finally I can come out out of the basement. Hi family, I haven't seen you for 2 weeks' and kids do not go along with it. Lies not just at drop of hat, but plans it down to the minutia.

I really appreciated Greg's truly non-biased approach to this video. As a therapist, I know how often people experience cognitive dissonance, which not only divides their own thinking, but manifests in a variety of mixed body messages. Liking or not liking a person is hard to remove when doing assessments as everything requires an interpretation from the filter that is your own mind. Thanks, as always, for such a great opportunity to contemplate the many expressions of communication!

I like court videos more than interviews because the questions are unrelenting and the one being questioned can’t hide as much. This guy is so obvious, with his overhelpfulness and overexpressiveness- over the top.🙄 He looks like a guilty teen who’s horrible at lying.

I can't stand this guy, but we will never know how honest his horrible brother (who is much worse) was with him. He was complicit, with his PR assistance, and deserves what he got trying to preserve the family name, but his brother is a whole nother ball of wax. Talk about two jerks who descended from a father who did as he pleased and taught them they could do the same. Nice work raising your kids, Mario. Shame on all of them.

Suggestion::Please, do Australia's "most hated woman", Kathleen Folbigg, whose 4 babies died when still very small. When K.F. herself was little, she saw her father kill her mother, so she knows how to disassociate. so far has spent 20 years in prison for their murder, 18 respected scientists proved that K.F. has it in her genes that the babies die young, they stood up for her. Yet she is still locked up. Please try to find films about her and tell us your thoughts.

This guy is so unlikeable ; more than Prince Andrew and that's saying something. Blatant arrogance and condescension towards the lady lawyer. Megyn Kelly interviewed his former boss Shelley Ross who accused him of sexual harassment . Predatory behavior must run in the family. Gentlemen great video as usual.

I think he did a pretty good job here. Why would someone in his situation not be calculated in his answers, they are looking to catch him on any misspoken words. Not sure how being careful and calculated in such a situation makes someone dishonest in any way.

I wish you guys would edit the videos the way you did a couple times, where you cut back to the facial expression as you're talking about it. That made it so much easier to follow along and under stand what you're talking about, as you went. I don't know if it just made the videos too long, or to much editing, or what. But I liked it.

Great fun. But from a cultural perspective, I have to point out that his social reciprocity behaviours can be seen in NY/NJ Italian culture. Breaking up tension is a learned behavior, and while it may be seen as not taking things seriously, it can actually be a signal that we know, absolutely, how f'ing serious things have gotten, which is why we tend to seek to release that pressure and try to lighten things up. This almost got me killed in South Africa, where it was interpreted as not respecting someone because I tried to diffuse tension with laughter.

It’s a common reflective response in many places in the south (of Mason/Dixon) but also PA and other areas in the middle of the country but it’s not natural flor actual New Yorker’s to use it out of habit or it being natural! It did seem completely non-genuine or like he was trying to be thoughtful, which just made me think no that’s not real or even culture for him to have that response!

Watching this guy squirm was exhausting. His incessant ducking and dodging, bobbin' and weavin' must make it hard to sleep at night. As to Mark's point, the onset of the sniffles is likely a sign of cortisol overload wearing down his immune system. Phew! That's a strong case in point that being honest, having integrity is a matter of health. Thanks Guys. Excellent education and entertainment. Thanks for the funny poker face delivery, Chase!
