Ethan, that “chirping” means the smoke alarm battery is critically low in charge. Trust your “spider” senses of the floor. Same with the noises. Is it the wind? Make sure the doors are locked whilst you’re in there-alone.

Another gorgeous home to be reduced to rubble. What a shameful waste. So nicely designed with stunning craftsmanship. I’ll never understand. Certainly meant to last much longer than 40+ yrs. What a gorgeous setting. I can’t see myself ever cutting a tree down unless it was dead and ready to fall on my house. I would buy it in a heartbeat and update a wee bit and refurbish the basement. Good as new and ready for another chapter. Weird that the car was sitting there. Someday there won’t be resources left for building, but only rubble in an ever growing landfill. Thanks for sharing another great video Ethan! Glad you didn’t meet any coyotes in the snow. Take care be well and stay safe!

That's the trouble with winning the lottery. You didn't build that wealth over time, which also teaches you how to manage it. The biggest thing is that without that period of time between 'rags to riches', personal growth doesn't occur as well. Meaning, you win the lottery, you're STILL broke-ass YOU. But now with more money than your broke ass knows what to do with, let alone manage. Wealth has to be grown in such a way that it fuels A CERTAIN LEVEL of lifestyle while it REPLENISHES itself. These people probably lived in a modest 3bd 2bath home and had regular 9-5 jobs prior to winning the lottery. Now, be honest, does this home fit someone at that financial level? I swear, if I won just $10 million, even in this shitty economy, I'd be able to retire and not work for the rest of my life. Could I afford to live in a place like this? HELL NO. Could I afford to BUILD it, go broke and lose it? HELL YES. Seeeeeeeeee??

Those Zig zag lines are for hanging Christmas cards on, that mould is from the house not being heated for a long time and the flooded basement hence all the buckling floors, a very sad state for such a nice house. That chandelier is superb. This is my greatest sadness these trees have taken so many years to get that bid and now it is going to be chopped down, maybe not so evident in Canada but all over the world there is a problem with global warming. At the moment we have a lot of floods and high wind here in the UK. Thanks for the video Ethan

Yeah it was a fine house in its day, but now it's not worth saving with all the destruction and the flooded basement. I did like the light effect with the setting Sun. Maybe when the tear it down you should explore the new house they put up before the new owners move in. Then come back in 30 years or so and go through it again when it's abandoned. I don't think I'll be around though. 😂
