Hi Ethan I like all 4 of these houses. They were all a bit different but they are all cool. Too bad they will be demolished. It’s such a waste of a good house except the last one with the flooded basement. That will soon have mold all over. The fireplaces and staircases were all beautiful. Hey Ethan I’m having a debate with someone. Can you tell me what the difference is between a bay window and a bow window? I know you would know. Also I would like to be among the first to wish you a HAPPY BIRTHDAY. I know tomorrow is your Birthday, April 29. So have a great birthday and go out and do something fun. 👍🆒 HAPPY BIRTHDAY to you Ethan.🎈🍰🎂🎁🍦🎉💕❤

Families and lives come and gone. Beautiful, custom homes, standing well 70-some years later, gone, turned into cookie-cutter condos. How depressing. Thanks, Ethan, for the tours. I’m with the woman below who thinks you shouldn’t do these explores alone. I’m from Southern California, where I defy anyone to find a house with a basement. We’d call a one-story a ranch-style house. I’ve never seen a covered hole-in-ground-style pool before in my long life. Really interesting.

I agree. You need to take someone with you. Especially these old homes. That being said this is the second or third home in the past few weeks in a row where you have been experience by some type of paranormal. Listen to me carefully because this lived in a haunted apartment in Charleston, South Carolina and ever since then I’ve had a few more paranormal experiences including the home I live in now where I raised four children. Every once in a while I smell cigar smoke like someone is holding a lit cigar under my nose and within a few seconds it’s gone. I am terrified but I’m not moving unless it gets bad. I have had experienced things move and turn up somewhere else in the house. Your experiences started with that old 1800s farmhouse when something threw batteries at you in the kitchen and then either you or Big Bankz had a piece of plaster at the top of the stairs in the same farm house was thrown. You now have something you have opened up and it’s either following you or ghosts are opening themselves up to you when you visit homes with them. If you are not careful they will follow you home and they will attack you. Be careful and even if you are not religious you need to see a priest about this so the priest can rid you of these or this entity. If they follow you home they can attack your family too.

Such a cute little group of homes! Loved the fireplaces in the second and fourth homes the best in those nice big rooms. Different design to have kitchen near the front entrance. Love the deck overlooking the pool on the last one. Those views in the back were peaceful and beautiful. The inhabitants of these homes hopefully have great memories of time there. That building next to the first house you explored was hideously ugly. Don’t know why anyone would build something so unattractive. I would not have wanted to live next to it let alone look at it. It’s a shame this grouping was not in an area more conducive to them being saved. The noises in the first house were creepy but probably just the product of a windy day through smashed windows. Please be careful and thanks for sharing this video. Take care be well and stay safe Ethan!

Memories worth everything . Love the second house!! Love the 80’s vibe renovation. Brick fireplace is so cozy!Just all the memories left behind from families. Thanks for For these nice finds . In the US these home would still be livable with a few updates. A few more good years left in them. I guess property is hard to come by and people want places to rent with no property up keep. Condo’s , apartments. I’m glad you have record of the older homes. Keep up the good work!!

Hi from Adelaide South Australia, don't worry about the sniffing I think most people do the same when outside in the cold. The knocking down of houses to build multiple boxes on the block is very common here. Beautiful homes built at the turn of the century when design was interesting are being lost forever. A couple of interesting points I noticed which are unusual for me here in Aus. are the lack of fencing is that normal? and the front door leading straight into the kitchen.

You're talking about asbestos, which is a legitimate concern in older homes. I worked asbestos litigation for several years, so I know a bit about it. Fiberglass insulation, which is like most home insulation, is safe. That's the pink or yellow stuff. Asbestos was used as insulation on mostly hot water pipes. As long as it's not disturbed, it's fine. You see an old house with a lot of gutted walls, asbestos was common in drywall mud. Be careful not to kick up drywall dust if you can help it (this is pre-1977 houses only- later is fine). It was also common in square floor tiles. You should recognize older looking tiles, as many houses as you visit. You are correct, it's also common in popcorn ceilings. You can also find asbestos in old paint, but lead is more of a problem if you're in an old house with a lot of decay. The really dangerous asbestos is a lot more common if you do old factories or old schools, something with a bigger boiler. Good luck and stay safe, my friend! As to these houses, that basement of the first house was really weird. Good idea to get out of there! Not the fanciest houses, but still with some architecturally interesting details. Sucks that they're going to be replaced probably by generic looking condos.
