In this video, I will give the details on what to expect, and how to request a no contact delivery, whether you're a customer or a delivery driver/Dasher. I believe Postmates was the first gig company to announce this option, and then GrubHub followed suit less than a week later. A few days after GrubHub announced theirs would be available in some markets, DoorDash announces they will also be offering No Contact deliveries, EXCEPT DoorDash is offering the option for Dashers/Delivery Drivers to request a No Contact delivery as well, IF they choose to do so. Delivery Drivers are Independent Contractors, and should have this option on ALL gig/delivery platforms/apps. You best believe that MANY restaurants, and fast food chains will be closing their dining rooms soon!! They will be offering drive thru and delivery services for the most part, while some smaller restaurants might close for a short period of time until this passes. Be proactive and do your part to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus, or ANY germs whatsoever!!
