Ever hear the one where if you lift weights you'll get big and bulky (as if you magically become the hulk) or the one where if you crash diet, you'll have a flat stomach? Check both of those (and the other 5 I'm about to share) off your transformation and weight loss myth list to make sure you're heading in the right direction to reach your goals!

thanks Heidi, all this information is good to hear on a very regular basis. As I grow older (52) I "get" it much faster. I've had a very similar journey as you -- growing up with high level gymnastics in the 80's and then having those habits carry into my adulthood -- through pregnancy, and up until a year ago (when grandbaby was born) -- i said ENOUGH -- and ultimately am not the strongest i've ever been, educated on the REAL TRUTH about food and how it affects the body. Thanks for being a light! -- also I live in Gilbert too maybe i'll say hi if i ever see you at the farmers market. have an amazing holiday and christmas and new year. I appreciate all your content. Kristie -- mom to 5 grown kids and 1 little 1 year old emerald!

The carbs one hit hard. I've had a real fear of carbs for almost 2 years. I'm slowly getting over it now, thankfully

Omg I'm so happy that I came across this video. I've been feeling so down. I had worked so hard to lose about 65 lbs. Heaviest at 170 to lowest at 100. I've maintained at 102lbs at 5ft3. I have the fear of gaining back my weight as so many videos mentioned that 95% of the people will gain back the weight. I'm constantly at the gym doing over an average of 70 mins of elliptical 6 days and strength training 3 times a week. I've been on about 1200 calories. I've been on this journey since October 2020 and now I'm feeling drained both mentally and physically but the fear prevents me from stopping. It's the holidays so I've been eating and feeling guilty. I would weight myself almost every day. My weight would fluctuate between 102 to 106 which would freak me out putting me on panic mode to restrict my calories and exercise even more but this video just helped me put my mind at ease. Thank you so much!!!!!

So funny you posted this today! I lifted after my accelerator. That’s 2 days in a row you’re in my head! Yesterday in the work out, you said do hug stretch and reach and touch as I was doing M1M with those exercises back to back! Great minds think alike 💖💪

Amazing video! My favorite part of this video is you talking about needing to be perfect and not letting the number on the scale to be in control. I’m genetically small but have never had abs. I have a fupa that I want to lose in my abdomen. I want to be leaner and am working toward that.

I love watching your videos. You explain things so well. Was wondering if you could do more 10 min workouts. So far I’ve done the ten minute arm workout and love to do it at least once a week. I don’t like to spend a lot of time in the gym so these workouts are perfect. Question, do you need to do 20 minute cardio before you workout? If not how should I warm up before lifting weights?

Great video but I have to disagree about carbs. There are a lot of carbs that do in fact cause fat gain. That’s been proven over and over again through huge studies. It’s particularly a problem when you’re insulin resistant.

I can't tone my glutes for love no fricking money. Its infuriating. I workout and eat well most the time. I can't count calories because I'm only 17 and live with parents, but I do do IF. Any tips?
